Today I was made aware of a 2nd letter from Carter Ruck that was sent to Tony on 4th August. I didn't know anything about this letter until I saw it on someone's blog.

Part of the letter states:




Recently we have seen Carter Ruck have Pat Brown's book banned on Amazon without any notice whatsoever to her, so the thread will not be back on the forum.

It would appear he swanned off on his jollies without telling his allies just how much trouble he was in....

Admin - presumably Havern - knew nothing till she saw it on a blog. Which suggests Bennett was happy to swan off and leave her to carry the can for all this.

Even by his lack of moral fibre, that is appalling - Havern had now joined the long list of allies shafted by Bennett.

I think that shows great fear from Bennett, Bonny. Why else would he say nothing to admin before doing a runner?

I would like to know how this letter appeared on someone's blog, asking for posts to be removed, and not bothering to inform the forum owner? How did the screenshot get on that blog, when no-one here has seen or heard of it?

That would be because Bennett didn't tell you, dear, he carried on his rampage, having passed the letters to HLM to post when he was out danger, maybe?

Meanwhile, Bennett has blotted his copybook with assorted other FB -based haters, and he is now persona non grata among a fair number of the 'truthseeking' community.

Simultaneously, Bret is badmouthing on his blog some people that he is also posting alongside on FB groups..... who appear to be unaware.

I know the disgusting attack Bennetts made on his victim aren't funny, mrs trellis, but the consequences are.
I wonder when it is going to dawn on them that they really should NEVER believe a word Bennett says?

As for Bret - I cannot think of anyone better suited to be the latest pin-up boy for the Madeleine-haters.

Inventing outraged Indians is a trick worthy of Bennett himself; Bret's other fictions are repellent, and I am amazed that people could be so far removed from reality as to believe them.

I can assure you ;-) that those in the know don't believe him, they intend to hoodwink others - and it would appear that the newly-reincarnated i million hits site on FB was started by one of them.
My money is on either Bret or a troll calling himself Que Cherrett on FB.

Carter Ruck are clearly going to take Bennett all the way this time - so what is Bennett going to do if the rumours flying about the whole thing being a set-up by hater trolls is in any way true?

Bennett can't defend himself then, can he?

We will just have to wait and see; but if Bennett folds, it will be a pretty fair sign that the whole thing was a set-up to smear Bennett's victim.

It would be easy for Facebook to clarify. They store the IP' for a time after the person's has deleted their page.
That's why, there have been so many prosecutions for hateful or libelous comments in recent years.
ETA. It could be, C&R do have the verification and that is why they are acting now?

Thing is, there is a very bad smell about all of this, and it is coming straight from the pitchforker camp.
