I don't expect any great discourse on this subject. I simply did not want it to pass unnoticed. I am not an overly emotional person, but what they did to that poor little boy has very nearly broken my heart.
I know a bit more about child abuse than I really wanted to, but my experiences were more to do with rage and inadequacies, and never actually deliberate. At least, I don't think so.
But those two tortured him to death quite deliberately. And as usual no one did a thing about it. I am sick to my very soul of hearing about lessons that never get learned.

I know how you feel, Sabot, there aren't actually words to describe it. Those two also pass my, Put down like rabid dog, test.

I don't want to play the Moral High Ground card, Bonny. As you know, I do not advocate the death penalty or prison justice, but I won't worry one wit if those two spend their time in prison scared witless about what might be done to them. I hope they will be isolated for all of that time, and live in total fear.
That his own mother could do this to him is completely beyond me, and while she might ultimately be responsible, that man also did this.
How could anyone hate a small boy so much? How could two of them hate a small boy so much? How could they torture him to death quite deliberately?
How could the people who should have been seeing the abuse have totally ignored it?

I don't advocate the death penalty either, Sabot, I just think that some people are so bad to the bone, with no hope of redemption, that society is better off without them in it in any shape or form.

They won't be scared witless, they will be kept away from the other common or garden criminals, and have better living conditions than many OAPs in the UK.

I do find the US's, life + 1000 years an acceptable alternative; anyone sentenced to that is NEVER going to see the light of day again, and European Yuman Rites don't hold sway in the US, so they won't get preferential treatment.

That would do me, Bonny. Life meaning Life. Revenge? Too bloody true.
