Re: 'Ex-cop earned hundreds of thousands from writing distortions and conspiracy theories'
Incidentally, why is Team Gonzo trying to hide the full story from the Gonzo cult?
That it was said, on the record, in court, that Martin Grime and others KNEW Amaral was acting wrongly when he made the McCanns arguidos and that he was misreading the forensic reports for his own agenda?
No wonder Team Gonzo propagandists have been spinning on overtime rates!

Re: 'Ex-cop earned hundreds of thousands from writing distortions and conspiracy theories'
I don't think Montclair and co are quite grasping that some pretendy 'court report' written by someone with his or her nose firmly wedged in Amoral's hindquarters is of NO value whatsoever.
It's like the hilarious 'court reports' from the hounders that were at Bennett's court appearances - remember how glowing they were? How well they claimed Bennett had done?
And then Judge Tugendhat brought the hammer down. And then REAL court reports were released. And it became glaringly obvious that the hounder 'court reports' were works of fiction, and bore NO resemblance to reality.

Quote from Hael's post:
I'd like an independent UK lead investigation into how the pj have managed the case. Early red flag - Amaral was involved in two missing children cases where he tried to pin it on the family/parents. At the time leading policeman had/s a criminal record (Arguido). Disregard for the laws they uphold (or suppose to uphold). Utter mess they made of the initial investigation. And (big red flag) the propaganda campaign run by Amaral to ensure the continued spread of lies and misinformation, que: Levy, Joana Morais, Blacksmith, Astro and other forkers.
Quite.

All his lying must be catching up to him. And what a horrible, hissy, voice he has!

Re: 'Ex-cop earned hundreds of thousands from writing distortions and conspiracy theories'
Oh, here it is! Why isn't this being discussed?
xxxxxxhttp://themaddiecasefiles.com/post317292.html
The defendant, he said, just wanted to "sell blood, sweat and tears".
He added that the investigation deviated from any objectivity and that the British police, Martin Grime and Mark Harrison realised this and feared that the McCanns were going to be subject to an impulsive, unfounded making of arguidos.
He also recalled that Stuart Prior was "very worried" when he met with the PJ on the fourth of september, just days before the McCanns were made arguidos. And that he was worried because he knew it was wrong to accuse them of anything because there was no evidence and the DNA reports were being misread, for the PJ's convenience.
Dear me, that's absolutely damning - even the edited and spun Team Gonzo version. No wonder Gonzo looks like sh*t.
And we can be absolutely sure that, if need be, the people named would confirm every single one of the McCanns' lawyer's words. It's only Team Amoral that needs to make up sh*te.
Why aren't the haters eagerly discussing the implications of this? Or have they been given orders not to draw attention to it?

Yes, he is, and no amount of spinning, distortion, propaganda and outright LYING from his flying monkeys is going to change that.
His own publisher's lawyer admitted
Mr Amaral 'appeared to have invented' much of the book.
Can his fan club really not grasp the meaning of that? His book is a pack of lies - his own publisher says so.

Anyone know why the Amoral fan club doesn't seem too keen on 'debating' this?

DING DING DING!
Yes, Lily, the very same Martin Grime. I am looking for eager discussion of this on the hate sites, but strangely, can't see any.
And remember, that quote came from one of their own, so they can't blame the UK media. Though I shudder to think what the lawyer actually said, as that is the spun, edited, Team Gonzo version.

Re: 'Ex-cop earned hundreds of thousands from writing distortions and conspiracy theories'
According to Montclair/Carolina:
This shows how little you have to hold onto when you have to grasp at straws like this one. When a lawyers uses sarcasm to describe the accusations made by the McCanns and you take it literally.
Someone's grasping at straws, and I think we can all see who it is.

Re: 'Ex-cop earned hundreds of thousands from writing distortions and conspiracy theories'
Nikki Wales Intriguingly, lawyers representing TVI and Amaral’s publishers Guerra e Paz remarked at the absence of journalists in the courtroom and the “repeated and convenient visits by Scotland Yard” “whenever there is a trial in session” to “deviate attention”. - See more at: http://portugalresident.com/madeleine-met-extends-time...
Pity they were talking absolute pish then, isn't it? Yard trips and court sittings have coincided ONCE. This week.
The underthecarpetwoman even posted about it:
xxxxxxhttp://unterdenteppichgekehrt.blogspot.co.uk/
The will to accept conspiracies in everything relating to this case is apparently not reserved for those that still read their tea leaves to decide on whether to hang their washing out, but seems to have affected studied lawyers as well.
Apparently all defense lawyers unanimously suggested that Scotland Yard - who take years and millions to finally decide on re-testing evidence from behind the sofa and the hired car - would be so organised and cunning to be able to orchestrate their visits to correlate with the hearings in the damages case. While both processes are subject to a heap of unforseeable events, like the break-down in the portuguese justice system or the dismissal of lawyers on the day of the hearing...
And almost everybody seems to nod their heads in consent and cleverly remarks that this is what they have said and known all along...
Now here is a list of the court dates and the number of correlating visits by Scotland Yard in Portugal:
12th September 2013 - nada
13th September 2013 - nada
19th September 2013 - nada
20th September 2013 - nada
27th September 2013 - nada
2nd October 2013 - nada
8th October 2013 - nada (Crimewatch had been announced on the 4th October, mobile phone records are new clues)
5th November 2013 - nada (Monteiro is in the news)
19th November 2013 - nada
27th November 2013 - nada (news about hope of a Joint Investigation Team)
16th June 2014 - nada (searches had ended on 11th June)
8th July 2014 - nada (questioning had ended on 2nd July)
10th December 2014 - BINGO
This slipshod carelessness with facts seems to affect Team Gonzo a lot, doesn't it?

How funny! Montclair/Carolina is Spinning For Gonzo on the hounders now, sounding increasingly desperate as she tries to whip the troops into line.
She really should give it up. All the spinning and lying in the world isn't going to change reality.

Re: 'Ex-cop earned hundreds of thousands from writing distortions and conspiracy theories'
I was just wondering to myself about why they can't see what rubbish Gonc was at his job. So much missed at the time. And then the terrible lies in his book.
And now that it is all coming out, they are hell bent on defending the indefensible.
So much crime in Praia da Luz, and so many criminals wandering around that appear to have been ignored.

It is understandable. When one has spent 7 years obsessed with the case, and finding a myriad of reasons for hating the McCanns, it must be difficult to accept that they have been taken for a bicycle ride by the cop they though was the hero of the piece.
It must be awful to find tat your Poirot is actually Clouseau (with a humourectomy, of course)

Re: 'Ex-cop earned hundreds of thousands from writing distortions and conspiracy theories'
Never underestimate the depths they will sink to to protect Amoral, Jean-Pierre.
Remember, Montclair, Guedes and co flatly denied any children had ever been sexually assaulted, in their beds, in the PDL area; they claimed it was all invented by 'Team McCann'.
Then it turned out that not only had children been assaulted prior to 2007, the PJ had DNA from one of the assaults.
Montclair and the rest of them were actively protecting a child molester, and by falsely claiming there had been no such assaults, were actively endangering other children.
If they will go as low as that to protect their beloved Amoral, then there is no lie they won't tell, no falsehood they won't spout if it serves their purpose.
Incidentally, I was interested in those posts about someone sticking Amoral's deposition in the middle of the court verdict on the supposed book unbanning. That explains why no-one could ever make sense of the version that is on the internet.
The book doesn't seem to be on sale in Portugal anyway, these days. Mind you, if even its publishers think it's rubbish, that's hardly surprising.

The Publishers must have known it was a made up load of rubbish. Unless they believed him, of course. But that's even worse if they did.
Seasoned and streetwise publishers believe the lies of a crooked cop, who was himself an Arguido by then.
Actually, that's disgraceful.
