Madeleine McCann TROLLED: Kate McCann was bombarded with hate messages on the day of missing Maddie's 12th birthday [PA]
Kate was abused as she appealed for sponsors for a cycle challenge to raise cash for missing children.
Trolls even made donations to her Just- Giving page so they could access it to leave hate messages too shocking to print.
But supporters urged Kate to ignore the abuse.
One wrote: “Keep strong Kate and don’t let the trolls get you down.”
Kate and husband Gerry, 46, yesterday laid presents in their abducted daughter’s bedroom to mark her birthday at their home in Rothley, Leics. Kate, 47, is hoping to raise £10,000 by taking part in a 500-mile cycle challenge from Edinburgh to London next month.

Jesus, wearing masks of a toddler and chasing her mother. What sort of a sick twisted perverted individual would think that was funny. My partner would probably leave me if they found out that was what I did in my spare time. Its disgusting, no wonder these people are at the bottom of the barrel of life.
Now they are using pictures of Madeleine and the fact its her birthday to try to trick people that the amaral fund is for helping madeleine soi they donate in her honour. I hope isaberl duarte is informed so she can tell the judge that amaral has allowed his lawyers to be paid from funds obtained by deceiving people into thinking it was for Madeleine. Sick barsteward.

The fact is that they are perverted pieces of scum from the edges of society where the idea of decency has yet to permeate. They are an embarrassment to civilised society. Large numbers of them are self-confessed drug addicts, others have admitted serious mental illness. Others among them are immature individuals who simply have not got beyond the level of maturity of children playing sick games against each other (it seems they cannot differentiate between real life and fantasy games on their computers). Many of them could not hold a job down if it involved contact with decent members of society in any constructive way. The very fact that they can spend their lives posting their filth day-in-day-out is proof that many do not actually contribute to the society which pays their benefits.
In summary they are the dregs of society whose existence is of no positive value at all. They are a complete waste of space with their fantasies, conspiracy lunacy and hateful spite and jealousy. And they worship another waste of space whose life is a complete mess because of his own lies, failures and greed.
