Elizabeth I, Bom, and good morning.   When Scotland and England became the United Kingdom the first king was James Vl of Scotland/James I of England. LL

Her correct title is Elizabeth I, Queen of Scots - NOT of Scotland. That is a very important difference, BomDia.

Jeremy is a man of integrity with a strong public service ethos and can be trusted with the public purse. #JezWeCan

Because nothing says 'integrity' like sweeping the Islington abuse scandal under the carpet for decades....

A blind eye to child abuse: Whistleblowers warned Labour leadership favourite Jeremy Corbyn of paedophiles preying on boys on his doorstep - but claim he did NOTHING
Social workers warned Corbyn that child abuse was rife in his Islington constituency in 1992
‘We'd been seeing so many 12 to 15-year-olds who were being sexually exploited, we could hardly believe it,’ Liz Davies, one of the five social workers, recalled this week
Corbyn never wrote to Davies, or telephoned, to acknowledge their meeting, or thank her for seeking to blow the whistle

Re: Bennett set up by harpies?

Post  Sabot on Sat Aug 01, 2015 1:51 pm

This is awful. As you all know, I spent three years in a children's home in London, between the ages of eleven and fourteen, and never was there even the remotest hint of abuse of any kind. In fact the Scottish, husband and wife couple did everything in their power to make us feel loved and cared for.

There were four boys and four girls, and we were taken on lovely outings and holidays, and allowed to have a dog and a cat. And it was the only really happy part of my child hood.
This wonderful couple were eventually removed because there were girl children in this home, despite no abuse of any kind. Just because he was a man.
And then I was sent back home to the physical abuse that I had supposedly been rescued from.

After that some loony woman took over, and had absolutely no control over the subsequent very disturbed children who replaced me and my sister. These children wrecked what was a beautiful house. Wrecked a loving home. And left Mhari and Alan wondering where they had failed.

Yes, I did keep in touch with them for many years. And Mhari was instrumental in my joining of The Wrens.

It really grieves me to think that there were and are good children's homes that never get any credit. While monstrous places carry on unchecked.

Re: Bennett set up by harpies?

Post  bb1 on Mon Aug 03, 2015 3:04 pm

Not often I agree with a hounder, but I cannot fault this:

Two so called freedom fighting women (Hutton and Poulton) who are against just about everything whilst seemingly all for everything at the same time - revolutionaries! (as long as it suits their cyber mawking behaviour) are seemingly dedicated to the disappearance of Madeleine McCann and seeking 'truth'. Add to that the girl power and inspirational quotes - Jeez, it's like stepping back into a very bad inspirational training course your company sent you on in the 1990's because they hadn't bothered to invest in your career and sent you on a pseudo-babble jolly to keep the troops happy. That 'fuzzy, loved-up feeling' abounds in Poulton and Hutton's tweets/blogs. 'Mwah', 'Hun' etc. I'm female and find it revolting.

It's absolutely gruesome and sick-making; they do indeed act like horrible. ageing leftovers from 'Gurrll power', or something equally phoney.

Doubtless that's why they're so entranced with Corbyn, it's all about feelings, and emotions, and a few choruses of Kumbaya setting the world to rights instantly.

As was widely predicted, because no-one was giving Mutton's blethering paeans of Corbyn-love the attention she feels is her right, she's launched yet another attack on the hounders in general and Bennett in particular.

Right on schedule! rofl rofl rofl rofl

PS - onlookers are Hahau Hahau Hahau Hahau at this bit of illiteracy from the famous authoress:

the trend, but it always ends in tears. Tony might do well to put down his bible, and study ACTUAL history. 'Vini, Vide, Vice' ended with 'et tu Brute'.

No, it didn't. Not least because no-one ever said 'Vini, Vide, Vice' , which translates from Latin as something to do with wine.....

The correct quote is, Veni, vidi, vici

She might do well to put down her bhong and her copy of The Wit and Wisdom of Jeremy Corbyn........

"However, I am in fact heartened, if I may borrow the word, that Scotland Yard appear to be working on behalf of Madeleine, though for obvious reasons, they cannot say so. Their generous contribution to their fellow officer's legal battles with the former suspects, spoke volumes."

Would you care to explain what you mean by that?

Does she also believe that some Metropolitan Police Officers contributed to criminal Gonc's fund?  I think that is what that comment is referring to?

Also, Sonz and the gang have been busy trolling Spivey - allegedly, of course! - and she's been left, red-faced, to come up with excuses for the non-appearance of Sonz' little fillum.

And Bennett's still on his hols, so she's bound to be pining. Pcorneater

It really is pathetic, seeing someone so desperate for attention, she picks fights with monotonous regularity, and then turns on the waterworks if anyone dares answer back. The hounders must breath sighs of relief when they see these very predictable rampages. Rolling Eyes
