I don't see him quitting, Lily, he has a hide like a rhino, but if the Tories can backstab Maggie Thatcher, they can do it to anyone.

I've seen chatter about a snap General Election - please God, no. I suspect most Brits could do with a break from elections and referendums.

I doubt if Dave will care what anyone thinks, Lily. Remember, he didn't even blush about the pig allegations....

Boris has to be favourite to take the job next. Which would at least be entertaining......

There is NO point in sending a warship if it's just going to give the buggers a nice comfy ride into the UK - at our expense.

Please note - the criminals that were so foolishly rescued a couple of days ago were Albanians. The group before that were from Iran. Neither country is at war, and neither is France.

FFS, stop picking them up and bringing them into the UK. mad

The latest on the saga of the Tories and the fiddled election expenses:

http://order-order.com/2016/06/01/tories-fail-to-block-police-investigation-in-thanet-south/

To be honest, I thought it was all going to go away, as it turned out that EVERY party had been at it, with undeclared battlebuses, helicopters, hotels, etc, but it is now getting very interesting indeed...

The Tory who stopped Nigel Farage winning in Thanet South has failed to block police extending the time available for their investigation of his election expenses spending. Why did the Tories try to block the police from investigating this seat – unlike in the twenty or so other seats where similar allegations have been made? Guido believes that this will prove to be the biggest overspend by any political party in any individual seat ever. Guido understands the Tories spent over £200,000 to stop Nigel Farage winning the seat…

Nige may get to be an MP yet.....

When this appeared online, I thought it was a photoshop. Sadly, it isn't.

Jeremy Corbyn was slammed as 'dull and boring' by viewers despite arriving for a chat show in a supercar with a full length 'fur' coat

Independence campers say Jesus wants them to stay outside Scottish Parliament

Independence campaigners say they have been instructed by Jesus to remain camped outside the Scottish Parliament.

The Sovereign Indigenous Peoples of Scotland say they are conducting a “spiritual” vigil and have been told by the Son of God to resist the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body’s attempts to remove them.

Campaigner Richard McFarlane told the Court of Session on Tuesday that he had spoken to Jesus personally.

He told judge Lord Turnbull that Jesus also told them the indie camp wants the Stone of Destiny.

The court heard how the stone would be used in a “Coronation” ceremony for Christ.

Mr McFarlane said: “We have spoken to Jesus who is here for his second coming and he would like you to stop this if you can please.

“If it is in your power could you please leave the indie camp alone. Christ is here on his second coming.

“We are having a spiritual vigil. We want to be free of debt and free of war. So if you can stop this, please do.”

.....full, deranged story at link.

To recap, so far we've heard that Jesus has returned to Earth, had the Queen cited as a witness & the judge accused of blasphemy. #IndyCamp

Maybe I should start drinking - the world might make more sense then?

Mind you, it would be great for tourism, if Jesus made a comeback and got crowned in Edinburgh...but somehow, I just don't see it happening......
