RIP Terry. LL
Veteran BBC broadcaster Sir Terry Wogan has died aged 77, after a short illness, his family has confirmed.
In a statement, they said: "Sir Terry Wogan died today after a short but brave battle with cancer.
"He passed away surrounded by his family. While we understand he will be missed by many, the family ask that their privacy is respected at this time."
BBC director general Tony Hall said: "Terry truly was a national treasure."

It's four, LL, Glenn Frey of the Eagles died on the 18th.

Nope, never heard of it, or him, or them, but then,except for Bowie, Queen, Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison I tend to ignore pop or whatever you call that. I'm mainly a classical music man. LL

Star of stage and screed Frank Finlay has died aged 89.
Finlay, who passed away earlier today, starred as Porthos in the Three Musketeer films released during the 1970s alongside Oliver Reed, Richard Chamberlain and Michael York.
He also starred in television series Bouquet Of Barbed Wire alongside Susan Penhaligon.
He was the lead in Dennis Potter’s serial Casanova, and starred in Shaft In Africa.
He was awarded a CBE gong in 1984.
