Very, very well done.  Those who claim sexual improprieties should be beyond ashamed of themselves and seek psychiatric help.  There is obviously something deeply wrong with them.

Hopefully the media who have repeated any libel of Sir James will be replacing money in his estate that they have caused to be used for lawyers in these matters.

It will be interesting to see if any of the nationals have the guts to pick the story up.

Good question.  We will see who has the guts.  They could also at the very least make a substantial donation to his Charity.  They must make amends somehow and merely printing a retraction on Page 26 doesn't cut it.

I don't know, lily, there are so many ramifications, so many 'claimants', but it does make one wonder about the other accused celebrities. When I was younger it was rogering the maid or the next door neighbor! LL

I have noticed that one paper picks up on a story and all the others run with it too. I think the big problem is the way modern communications works. Reporters now sit at a desk with a PC, they no longer go out looking for stories, they recycle the information supplied by the news agencies. LL

The thing that annoyed me most about the whole business was that the very papers that were competing for the most hysteria-laden headlines about a dead DJ and what he may, or may not have, done-

Were studiously ignoring the plight of dozens of unfortunate young girls who were being pimped out and treated in the most appalling fashion RIGHT NOW by Asian gangs.

I assume their real, contemporary suffering isn't nearly as exciting and doesn't sell as many papers as nonsense about Satanic orgies in the BBC carpark.   

It's easier isn't it?  

I too get angry at the stupid fluffy stories that are shoved at us, passing as breaking news, when the real stuff gets no mention.  Or is treated as an afterthought.  Talk about dumbing people down.......

Yes, they all had a press release about 4.30 yesterday from Scotland Yard press office – I do declare this is the first time in living memory Mark Williams-Thomas hasn’t been at the head of the queue to reprint a press release that mentions both Jimmy Savile and heinous crimes in the same breath.
There must be some reason that escapes me right now….

A spokesman for New Scotland Yard said: 'We can confirm that a DNA search was conducted against outstanding and unidentified DNA samples. The search, which was speculative, has now been completed and, there were no matches.
'The search was done with the permission of a family representative and they have been advised of the result.'
A family spokeswoman said: 'We gave consent for Jimmy's DNA to be checked and have been awaiting the results.
'We have tried to be as helpful as possible in the circumstances. We are relieved to hear that the DNA does not match any of the historic crimes, as we expected.'

I confess, I saw the Lizards rabbiting on about dogecoins and hadn't the foggiest what they were on about. They were, in perfect seriousness, saying things like:

As of now 40% or more (forget exact figures) of Doges have been mined, unless they slowly let some out after total mining is done which is projected to be 6 months, thats it folks. Estimates today are that it is ceartainly possible for one dodge to = $40-$50 per dodge in the future after all is mined up because people want doges, and demand is not expected to stop when supply is reduced after each block halfing or after total supply is exhausted. So basically a 8 month run of doge mining, followed by a slot trickle to keep mining going and transaction processing in the future.

They're the kind of idiots that would have invested in tulips 300 years ago.
