Prosecutors ban Soros Foundation as ‘threat to Russian national security’
he Russian Prosecutor General’s Office has recognized George Soros’s Open Society Institute and another affiliated organization as undesirable groups, banning Russian citizens and organizations from participation in any of their projects.
In a statement released on Monday, prosecutors said the activities of the Open Society Institute and the Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation were a threat to the foundations of Russia’s Constitutional order and national security. They added that the Justice Ministry would be duly informed about these conclusions and would add the two groups to Russia’s list of undesirable foreign organizations.
Prosecutors launched a probe into the activities of the two organizations - both sponsored by the well-known US financier George Soros - in July this year, after Russian senators approved the so-called “patriotic stop-list” of 12 groups that required immediate attention over their supposed anti-Russian activities. Other groups on the list included the National Endowment for Democracy; the International Republican Institute; the National Democratic Institute; the MacArthur Foundation and Freedom House.
In late July, the Russian Justice Ministry recognized the US National Endowment for Democracy as an undesirable group after prosecutors discovered the US NGO had spent millions on attempts to question the legitimacy of Russian elections and tarnish the prestige of national military service.

The Law on Undesirable Foreign Organizations came into force in early June this year. It requires the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Foreign Ministry to draw up an official list of undesirable foreign organizations and outlaw their activities. Once a group is recognized as undesirable, its assets in Russia must be frozen, its offices closed and the distribution of any of its materials must be banned.
If the ban is violated, the personnel of the outlawed group and any Russian citizens who cooperate with them could face heavy fines, or even prison terms in the case of repeated or aggravated offences.

The Soros Foundation started working in Russia in the mid-1990s, but wrapped up its active operations in 2003.
Europe and the US need to follow Russia's example instead of letting all those bogus 'activists' take his dirty money.

So glad to read that. If only the US and Europe would follow Russia's lead, there might be less chaos in the world.

Re: Soros' groups kicked out of Russia
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/12/01/state-department-troubled-by-moscows-move-against-soros-groups.html
The U.S. State Department says it is “troubled” by Russia’s decision to ban two of liberal billionaire George Soros' pro-democracy charities and label the organizations a threat to national security.
“Today’s designation of the Open Society Foundations and the Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation as so-called ‘undesirable’ organizations will only further restrict the work of civil society in Russia for the benefit of the Russian people,” State Department spokesman Mark Toner said Monday. “This action is yet another example of the Russian Government’s growing crackdown on independent voices and a deliberate step to further isolate the Russian people from the world.”
A spokesperson from Russia’s Prosecutor General’s Office said the activities of the fund are threats to state security and the Russian constitution, Radio Free Europe reports.
The Open Society Foundations said in a statement on its website that it was “dismayed” by the decision.
“Contrary to the Russian prosecutor’s allegations, the Open Society Foundations have, for more than a quarter-century, helped to strengthen the rule of law in Russia and protect the rights of all,” the statement read.....etc.
Lying PoS. No surprise that Obama's lot are all upset, though - they won't even do anything about the monster fomenting trouble in the US.

They simply do not care that Soros is now doing to the US, what he and his fake organisations have done to the rest of the world.
ANYONE that supports Soros, or is linked to him, is an enemy of true democracy and a tool of the globalists.

Re: Soros' groups kicked out of Russia
http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2015/12/newly-released-hillary-clinton-emails-reveal-george-soros-regretted-backing-obama-over-her/
George Soros, a billionaire Democratic donor, told a close Hillary Clinton ally that he regretted voting for President Obama over her in the 2008 Democratic primary, according to an email released Thursday by the State Department.
Center for American Progress President Neera Tanden said in a May 2012 email to Clinton that Soros made the admission to her during a dinner.
“I told him I worked for you in the primaries and he said he’s been impressed that he can always call/meet with you on an issue of policy and said he hasn’t met with the President ever (though I thought he had),” Tanden wrote.
“He then said he regretted his decision in the primary – he likes to admit mistakes when he makes them and that was one of them,” she added.
“He then extolled his work with you from your time as First Lady on. You probably have heard this all before but on the off chance you haven’t, I thought I should let you know. Thanks again for doing the video!” she wrote.
An August 2012 article in The New Yorker said Soros gave $5 million to help elect Obama in 2008, and that he later felt snubbed by the president.
“Confidants say that, although he still supports Obama, Soros has been disappointed by him, both politically and personally,” the article said. “When Soros wanted to meet with Obama in Washington to discuss global economic problems, Obama’s staff failed to respond.”

Soros’ son ‘stashed’ $21M in bank as wife battled cancer
The Soros family is famous for its philanthropy, but billionaire George Soros’ son was allegedly less than charitable to his wife while she was battling cancer.
The scion, Robert Soros, quietly funneled $21 million in joint tax refunds into personal accounts while his wife was in recovery, according to testimony in their bitter divorce trial.
Melissa Soros took the witness stand in Manhattan Supreme Court Friday to say she was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent intensive rounds of chemotherapy in 2008.
“It was a large bulky tumor,” Melissa, 51, said.
“I spent five to seven days in the hospital for each round between June 12 and Sept. 18, 2008,” she testified.
After the treatments, the former filmmaker and accomplished equestrian got pneumonia.
“I was pretty out of it,” she said.
“I once missed a stair and broke my ankle. I couldn’t sleep. My vision was blurred. It was terrible, excruciating,” she said.
Melissa also testified about her shrewd accounting skills before becoming ill.
“I spent a lot of time making sure we were not being overcharged,” she said. Once Melissa even caught “an employee of the hardware store furnishing their home on our account.”
But during her recovery, she stopped paying attention to household finances.
“I had to concentrate on healing myself, on staying alive,” said the mother of two college-aged kids.
In 2010 and 2011, her husband Robert put four checks — for $5 million, $7.5 million, $4 million and $4.5 million — in his own HSBC account, said Melissa’s attorney, Bernard Clair.
Robert told the judge he had a prior oral agreement with his wife that he would retain the refunds because he paid the taxes.
Robert also acknowledged that at times he had put other refunds into joint checking accounts if there were “immediate expenses.”
The trial — solely over how the couple’s massive tax refunds will be divvied up — resumes next month.
Melissa already has the family’s $21 million Greenwich Village town house, but they’re still fighting over other assets.
Robert, who holds a top post at the family investment fund, sued his wife of 22 years for divorce in 2014.
His estimated net worth tops $350 million, according to published reports about his property and income.
His father, the politically liberal financier who runs Soros Fund Management, is the world’s second wealthiest hedge fund manager with a $24.5 billion fortune, according to Forbes.

George Soros: "Europe Is On The Verge Of Collapse"
Job done then, you vile monster. The whole piece is sick-making, but how's this for shameless hypocrisy?
I take this very personally. I am a strong supporter of the values and principles of an open society because of my personal history, surviving the Holocaust as a Jew under the Nazi occupation of Hungary.
He's forgotten to mention he didn't just survive, he thrived, thanks to stealing from his fellow-Jews and betraying them to the Nazis.
Piece of merde.

Re: Soros' groups kicked out of Russia
Recognizing a problem is an invitation to do something about it. That is the main lesson I learned from the formative experience of my life, in 1944, when the Nazis occupied Hungary. I might not have survived if my father hadn’t secured false identification papers for his family (and many others).
Yeah, and collaborating with the Nazis helped, as well.
http://itmakessenseblog.com/2011/01/28/george-soros-says-he-feels-no-remorse-for-collaborating-with-nazis-during-wwii-to-send-his-fellow-jews-to-the-death-camps-steal-their-property/
To survive, George, then a teenager, collaborated with the Nazis.
First he worked for the Judenrat. That was the Jewish council set up by the Nazis to do their dirty work for them. Instead of the Nazis rounding up Jews every day for the trains, they delegated that murderous task to Jews who were willing to do it to survive another day at the expense of their neighbours.
Theodore hatched a better plan for his son. He bribed a non-Jewish official at the agriculture ministry to let George live with him. George helped the official confiscate property from Jews.
By collaborating with the Nazis, George survived the Holocaust. He turned on other Jews to spare himself.
George moved to London after the war and then to New York, where he became a stockbroker. He’s rich now. Forbes magazine says he’s the 35th richest man in the world. Maybe you’ve heard of him. He goes by the name his father invented: George Soros.
How does Soros feel about what he did as a teenager? Has it kept him up at night?
Steve Kroft of 60 Minutes asked him that. Was it difficult? “Not at all,” Soros answered.
“No feeling of guilt?” asked Kroft. “No,” said Soros. “There was no sense that I shouldn’t be there. If I wasn’t doing it, somebody else would be taking it away anyhow. Whether I was there or not. So I had no sense of guilt.”
A Nazi would steal the Jews’ property anyways. So why not him?
That moral hollowness has shaped Soros’ life. He’s a rabid critic of capitalism, but in 1992 when he saw a chance, he speculated against the British pound, causing it to crash, devastating retirement savings for millions of Britons. Soros pocketed $1.1 billion for himself. If he didn’t do it, someone else would, right?
Utter, utter scum. If there was any justice, Soros would have been dangling from a lamppost years ago, instead of wrecking hundreds of thousands of lives to enrich himself.
Open Society my arse.
