Congratulations to Wales whose under-rated football team sent the over-confident Belgians packing last night. As someone on the radio said "Wales v Iceland in the final?"   Hungarian friends are laughing their heads off as it was Belgium who sent Hungary packing and now they are on their way home, defeated by that little Red Dragon!!   LL

Funny thing is, LL, the overpaid superstars in Germany and Italy don't interest me one bit, I much prefer the minnows like Iceland.

More Icelands and fewer overpaid superstars make for far better sport, IMO.

I would love to see a Wales - Iceland final, LL, I would actually watch that. I will NOT watch the overpaid superstars.

I did briefly wonder which island. And then decided that they meant Ireland.

84 minutes France 5, Iceland 2.   There's 5 minutes to go, then injury time.  LL

ETA Final score France 5, Iceland 2. France will face Germany next. All praise goes to the plucky losers. LL

Indeed, LL, they certainly haven't disgraced themselves or their country - unlike a few others.

Bad news is we lost. Good news is that the people of Vestmannaeyjar are about to get their dentist back. #FRAISL

The overpaid superstars and their tarty girlfriends should be ashamed of themselves.

Normally I'd be pretty neutral, LL May the best team win, etc but one or two of the overpaid Portuguese superstars have been so spoiled and bratty, I hope Wales wins 5-0.

Though maybe I shouldn't say that, as my support tends to be the kiss of death.....

The big interest in this game will be when Gareth Bale goes up against Christiano Rinaldo, Both play for Real Madrid. I've got my leeks tightly crossed for Wales!!!! LL rofl rofl rofl rofl
