Sad news today - after a long and heroic battle against illness, blogger Anna Raccoon has slipped away.

Sad news.
@AnnaRaccoon2017 died peacefully at 3am this morning.
A great friend, a ferocious ally and a tragic loss.
She will be missed.
Anna fought her illness for some years, with immense courage and wit - even standing for Parliament at the recent General Election. Always controversial, but never dull, Anna will live on in her family's treasured memories, and the many, many people in the wider world who admired her and her sharp 'take' on events.
Rest in peace, Anna.

That is indeed sad news, she was such a strong genuine human being, and I wish her to Rest In Peace, always missed, never forgotten. Lamplighter
