Gaia Pope had not suffered any injuries that would suggest she was murdered, detectives have said.

A post-mortem examination “has not identified any injuries to suggest any other person was involved in” the death of the teenager, who was found by specialist search teams in Swanage, Dorset, on Saturday - 11 days after she went missing.

The twin sister of Gaia Pope has said she is "heartbroken" at the loss of her "beautiful twin" after police said they were "confident" they had found the missing teenager's body.

Maya Pope-Sutherland wrote on Facebook: "Can't find any words right now. Gaia is my everything and I am heartbroken. I thank everyone who was involved in searching for my beautiful twin. Going to make her so proud."

The message appeared above a picture of her sister, with the message: "R.I.P Gaia".

DORSET Police today ruled out murder after a post-mortem found Gaia Pope had 'no injuries to suggest any other person was involved' in the teen's death

Meanwhile persons were arrested on suspicion of Murder. This is a disgrace.

Not only arrested but named as well. Perhaps we might see some changes to that aspect.

Something really needs to be done to stop people being named until they are found guilty in a court of law,  it has happened too many times and affected the lives of many innocent people.
