I'd assumed it would be the usual system, where motorists hand over their euro, or whatever, but apparently not.

I can see that causing real trouble with tourists, whose cars will not be fitted with these transponder things?

Dumped Puppies. This makes me so angry. Some people do this sort of thing around here, usually fully grown dogs, and usually at the start of The Grande Vacance. They are often difficult to catch because they are frightened and bewildered, but the local Marie is very good at dealing with this sort of thing.

please, tell about those puppies to everyone you know. Convince someone to take good care of them, they surely deserve.
