Long story short, Trump supporters held a rally in Berkeley, and were attacked by the usual antifa thugs. But lo! The antifa didn't get to beat up any elderly people this time, because Based Stick Man waded in and walloped a couple of them.

At which point the antifa backed off. As usual, the Berkeley police did naff-all about the antifa, but did stir themselves to arrest Based Stick Man.

The shield's good, but he needs something a bit more heavy duty than a length of plywood if he wants to really go medieval on antifa ar~es.

A conservative legal group is suing the CIA, Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Treasury Department for access to the information that revealed former national security adviser Michael Flynn conversed with Russia’s ambassador before President Trump's inauguration.

Judicial Watch, the conservative group that repeatedly sued former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton over her use of a private email server, is suing for all information related to an investigation of Flynn’s contacts with Ambassador Sergey Kislyak.

The lawsuit, filed on Monday, came two days after Trump alleged that former President Obama ordered wiretapping of his phone lines at Trump Tower during the 2016 presidential campaign. Trump has failed to provide any evidence to support the explosive claim.

“President Trump is on to [sic] something,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a statement. “The Obama-connected wiretapping and illegal leaks of classified material concerning President Trump and General Flynn are a scandal.”
The lawsuit is asking for “any and all records regarding, concerning, or related to the investigation of retired Gen. Michael Flynn’s communications with Russian Ambassador to the United States Sergey Kislyak between October 1, 2016 and the present.” etc

At the time I was leading efforts in the House to challenge the Obama administration’s war against Libya. The Qaddafi government reached out to me because its appeals to the White House and the State Department to forestall the escalating aggression had gone unanswered.

It was the final straw for me when I found out that the Gaddafis had been telling the truth all along, and trying to reach a compromise, but Obama and Hillary were desperate to attack the country and made up the usual pack of lies.

The Deep State, or whatever anyone wants to call it, is a danger not just to the US but to the whole planet, IMO.

"Putin derangement syndrome" may have finally jumped the shark.

Just minutes ago on the US Senate Floor, Sen. Rand Paul did the sensible thing and blocked NATO accession for tiny, corrupt Montenegro. The inconsequential Balkan country brings absolutely nothing to the NATO alliance, with its army of approximately 1,950 active duty military, a population the size of the city of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and a history political repression and corruption.

Montenegro would only be a drain on the NATO alliance, but those pushing for its membership don't care much. They view Montenegro's NATO membership as another black eye for the Russians, who have been historically close to the tiny Balkan state.

Chief among those who are obsessed with giving Russia a black eye -- and perhaps starting WWIII -- is the Senator from Arizona, John McCain. And Senator Paul's move today nearly caused him an aneurism.

McCain asked for unanimous consent to move forward his bill to approve NATO membership for Montenegro. His jaw dropped as he witnessed Sen. Paul raise his objection and then exit the room. Done.

McCain exploded at Paul in what must really be a meltdown for the records:

I note the senator from Kentucky leaving the floor without justification or any rationale for the action he has just taken. That is really remarkable, that a senator blocking a treaty that is supported by the overwhelming number, perhaps 98—at least—of his colleagues would come to the floor and object and walk away.

The only conclusion you can draw when he walks away is he has no justification for his objection to having a small nation be part of NATO that is under assault from the Russians. So I repeat again, the senator from Kentucky is now working for Vladimir Putin.

'Hanoi Songbird' McCain isn't just a traitor, he's an insane warmonger who should have been locked up long ago, IMO.
