Cosmetic surgery firm Transform refuse free removal of PIP breast implants

That's pretty greedy of them, I assume they think the NHS should pay?

Sorry, but I can't get off on this. Apart from women who were given breast implants due to Cancer or some other medical reason, then the rest should fight it out amongst themselves. It was a vanity issue and should not be the responsibility of The NHS. There surely must be a means to Sue. These women afforded the surgery in the first place and should initially fund the removal, and hope to get their money back later.
When a woman often has to wait in excess of six months for Cancer surgery then it is obscene to put vanity first.
And if someone's life is in danger, then charge them for removal and bill them over a period of time. But don't even consider replacement.

Couldn't agree more, Sabot. Cancer victims are one thing. But I am afraid I have no sympathy for anyone who thinks it is a good idea to have plastic bags of God-knows-what implanted in their body to - what? Get attention?. What were they thinking?

Bonny, I was definitely at the back of the queue when it came to Boobs, and I don't remember ever wanting to be different in that. And I certainly didn't have any "Issues" about it. In fact, in my day I was considered to be lucky, if anything. Sheesh, can you imagine having self worth issues over not having big boobs? As though a couple of bags of something or another would make you feel more valuable to society in general.

These woman have a choice. Pay for it or not.
