GERRY MCCANN talks about taking part in his third Etape Caledonia event and daughter Madeleine's birthday. The etape is an 81-mile race which starts and finishes in Pitlochry. About 5000 people took part on Sunday morning.

I am sure the forkers won't like hearing that the Find Madeleine Fund is very healthy now, in part thanks to the success of Kate McCann's book.

The Book Success and The Scotland Yard Review has obviously done both Kate and Gerry a power of good. This is so nice to see after all of the misery. And it's made me feel better as well.

The difference is striking, isn't it? Kate McCann looked the same after the fund-raising run - as if the weight of the world had been lifted off her shoulders.

Incidentally, what have the forkers been doing while the McCanns have been doing charity runs and bike races? Waddling to the pie shop and off-licence?

Nothing useful or healthy, that's for sure.

And making up more Shite. Have you see the new Gaspar Thread? The one about the Greece holiday mentioned in Gonc's book. Not a scrap of evidence, as usual. Just made up allegations. And The McCanns weren't even there.

I don't think they care that Gonc made it up, Bonny. They wouldn't have anything to screech about if he hadn't.

And from what I have read, there now appears to be far more "Lusophobes" in Portugal than anywhere else. If that is possible. Certainly a lot of Portuguese don't seem to like The PJ all that much.

This has always been the flaw with Morais' shrieks about 'Lusophobia' - she is actually saying that Portugal doesn't deserve any better than corruption and dirty cops who beat up people in custody.

It's like saying someone is 'Germanphobic' because they disapprove of the Gestapo, or 'Russophobic' if they don't think too much of the KGB.

Why don't they ever, just as an exercise, try rethinking everything they think they know and factor in Gonc being a liar and Madeleine McCann having been abducted?

They will then find out that it all makes perfect sense, that it is THEM who are wrong, not the rest of the world.

They won't even consider it, though, they are too scared.

And everyone is very much aware of Gonc's "Unsavoury Methods" by now. Fortunately they didn't work on this occasion.

I really don't think they are going to be able to cope with reality.

They cannot even cope with the present reality - that Kate McCann is invited to Downing Street, while their adored Gonc is virtually in hiding from the PJ.
