arrested for making 150 'marriages' The Services of Foreigners and Frontiers (SEF) in Lisbon on Sunday captured a foreign man to fulfill the four years in prison who had been convicted for crimes of association to facilitate illegal immigration, association and more than 150 marriages of convenience. The indictment resulted from an investigation carried out by the SEF that led to the dismantling of a major transnational networks identified so far, which acted also in Portugal, dedicated to aiding illegal immigration by entering into marriages of convenience. The network arranged fraudulent legalization of foreign citizens using the marriages called "white" citizens with national which accepted the marriage in exchange for money. The man was taken to Lisbon Prison serving his sentence.
