Just a reminder, for all his fan club who seem to having difficulty dealing with reality:

Torture and other ill-treatment

In February, a video showing prison guards using a dart-firing stun gun against an inmate in Paços de Ferreira prison in September 2010, allegedly to force him to clean his cell, was broadcast on the internet. The man appeared to offer no resistance. In April, the Minister of Justice issued a decree forbidding the use of stun guns in similar circumstances. An inquiry by the Audit and Inspection services of the General Directorate for prisons was pending at the end of the year.

In March, the Court of Appeal of Evora confirmed an earlier ruling that Leonor Cipriano had been tortured while in police custody in 2004, but that it could not identify those responsible. Leonor Cipriano had yet to receive compensation from the state. Gonçalo de Sousa Amaral and António Fernandes Nuno Cardoso, senior officials in the judicial police, had been sentenced to 18 months’ and 27 months’ imprisonment respectively, for falsely claiming Leonor Cipriano had fallen down the stairs. However, both sentences were suspended on the grounds that the officers had no previous criminal convictions.
Hearings in the trial of three police officers, accused of torturing Virgolino Borges while in police custody in March 2000, took place in November and December. Virgolino Borges was asked to give his testimony again as the recording had allegedly been lost due to technical problems.

Their other idol, Tavares de Almeida of the discredited report, is one of the other thugs allegedly involved in the second incident:

Madeleine McCann Detective on Trial for Torturing Suspect in Unrelated Case

Published October 14, 2007
London Times

A senior Portuguese detective who interviewed Kate McCann and accused her of being involved in the death of her daughter is facing trial for trying to torture a suspect into confessing.
Leaked court papers reveal that Tavares Almeida is one of three officers accused of beating Virgolino Borges, a railway worker, during nearly eight hours of interrogation.
According to witness testimony the officers bound him with handcuffs behind his back, beat his bare feet with a fence post until it splintered and punched him repeatedly in the stomach, kidneys and back.
Almeida is the second leading detective to be accused of torture. Chief Inspector Goncalo Amaral, the investigation’s former co-ordinator, stepped down earlier this month amid separate allegations that he concealed evidence of the torture of a woman jailed for the murder of her daughter.
Last week the appointment of a fresh police officer to head the inquiry raised Gerry and Kate McCann’s hopes that it could be refocused on to the search for their daughter.
He is Paulo Rebelo, Portugal’s second most senior police officer, who is conducting a full review of the case. This will include reinterviewing all the holidaymakers who were staying at the Ocean Club resort when Madeleine disappeared.

Last week he made clear all lines of inquiry were open including the possible abduction. Detectives are, however, still setting store by forensic science tests, which they claim suggest Madeleine died in the apartment.
There have been doubts about the reliability of the results. This week further analysis by the Forensic Science Service could prove critical in determining whether the McCanns and their friends face further questioning. Robert Murat, the only other suspect in the case, this weekend broke his silence to ask police to lift his status as a suspect. He said: "It’s five months, my savings are gone, Mum’s doing what she can. It’s very, very difficult."

The disclosure of the legal action against Almeida further threatens the credibility of the Portuguese police. According to the court papers, dated Oct. 4, Borges was interrogated by Almeida and his colleagues over a theft on March 3, 2000. Following searches at his home at 7 p.m. and locker at work at 7:40 p.m., Borges was taken to the policia judiciaria station in Lisbon. During the questioning, which went on until 2:30 a.m., Borges claims he suffered bruises to his throat, stomach, feet and a gash in his head.

The testimony states: "He was handcuffed behind his back and grabbed by an officer in such a way so he couldn’t double up and was punched various times in the stomach. Then they took off his shoes and with a fence post started beating his feet until the post began to splinter."
The injuries were confirmed by his wife the following night, who claimed she saw abrasions and bruises to his abdomen and back after he had been released without charge.
Almeida admits that he conducted the interrogation but says he cannot remember who was in charge and what happened.

What has to happen for the forkers and hounders to wake up to the kind of people they are cheering on? Or is their hatred of the McCann family so great that nothing else matters?

Yes, Bonny. Together they form a Collective Hate and actually enjoy pouring it out on the McCann family.

How is this for desperate, frantic, barrel-scraping denial from Bennett?

According to Bennett:

Amnesty International's blunder over the murder of Joana Cipriano
Tony Bennett Today

What Amnesty International has done is simply to lift this brief press report and use it to slate five PJ officers.

After repeating all the usual penny-dreadful stuff about the Cipriano case, which was thrown out of court, he claims that Amnesty didn't do any proper research on the case rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl

No wonder he's in such trouble, he knows as little about Amnesty and their meticulous checking and rechecking, as he does about, well, anything.

Which is zilch. Zero. Nada. Nothing.

Not that it greatly matters any more what any of that lot think about anything, real life is about to tear their empire of hate down about their empty heads.

They're still kidding themselves.

@Pheobus1 Portuguese court says different, Gonçalo Amaral will not be indicted in lawsuit by Leandro Silva http://bit.ly/Tfjy1o #mccann

Sadly for his fan club, like so much that appears in CdM this wasn't true;

Gonçalo Amaral: Do not go to trial
The court decided not to pronounce Faro former PJ coordinator Gonçalo Amaral in the lawsuit by Leandro Silva (Joana's stepfather), who complained of torture.

Gonc's lawyers tried to have it timed out - who can forget Carolina/Montclair telling everyone on MCF what the judge's verdict was? Or rather, what she thought it was.

The attempt to get Gonc off the hook on a technicality was appealed and the appeal upheld.

His trial for actual torture is somewhere in the long list of court dates awaiting Gonc.

And they shouldn't beleive everything they read in CdM. Wink

The depth of their ignorance about this matter is truly stunning. They don't appear to grasp that all Gonc's penny dreadful crap was thrown out of court.

As for Bennett digging up Cristovao's sh*t - well, Cristovao has a vested interest in inventing it, doesn't he, as he is one of the thugs involved.

Good job the PJ are dealing with Gonc, Cristovao and co:

Cristovao Pereira is still pending disciplinary proceedings in PJ

If the attacks on the mother of Joan has been resolved in court, but the PJ decided to open disciplinary proceedings against the inspectors involved, including Christopher Paul Pereira , the vice president of Sporting
.
Bruno Roseiro and Rui Gustavo (www.expresso.pt)
12:21 Tuesday, April 17, 2012

Paulo Pereira Christopher is out of the Judicial Police for five years but no one is free of disciplinary proceedings by the department of PJ. "You are accused of breach of duty and the case is still pending at the stage of the defense," said the Express a lawyer.

The vice president of Sporting and five inspectors (including Gonçalo Amaral) had already been accused by prosecutors of assaulting Leonor Cipriano, Joana's mother, a child was last seen in September 2004.

Christopher Paul Pereira was acquitted at trial - just another inspector Gonçalo Amaral and António Cardoso, were convicted for providing false information - but the prosecutor of the department's disciplinary PJ believes there is sufficient evidence to charge, a process less demanding as to proof such as discipline.

The leader of Sporting, now suspected to trap the referee Joseph Cardinal left the PJ in 2007, following the hearing of the case of the missing girl, and a possible penalty of suspension will not, of course, any practical effect.

In December last year, speaking to "Daily News", Christopher Pereira proved to be disgusted with the conclusions of the attorney disciplinary process: "I am amazed at the degree of incapacity that gentleman. How can write it when Leonor Cipriano said he did not always hit her. "

The safety inspector

Christopher Pereira joined PJ in 1990 as security. Despite several good ratings, was convicted in another case displinar 800 euros disappeared because of a lot of notes that was in their custody.

Even so, the inspector took the course and gained fame as "embattled police" in the various departments through which he passed, including the fight against terrorism and corruption. He left not feel supported by the hierarchy when he was accused in the process Joanna.

However, he wrote three books, founded a security company and became a commentator on police matters on television.

The connection to Sporting at least more direct, begins shortly after, in 2009, presidential candidate of the club, which represented "a rupture with continuity", a campaign was mobilizing up to the last two weeks, at which lost gas with the 'case Eriksson'. Lost to José Eduardo Bettencourt by an overwhelming majority: 89% -11%.

Later, in 2011, when there was talk of a possible candidacy, separated from most of the closest collaborators two years before and finally join the cast led by Godinho Lopes.

In Sporting, Paulo Pereira Christopher has the portfolio of infrastructure and assets, and a close relationship with the cheerleading of Sporting.

At a congress in Barcelona with some of the biggest clubs in Europe, explained that "the things cheerleading" also could resolve "a few cervejitas going to drink with them."

==========

Fancy the PJ not believing a word that thug says! I doubt if he will be quite as full of himself when the PJ strips him and the others of their police pension, and other perks.
