BBC RADIO IS 90 YEARS OLD TODAY

Despite all the brouhaha going on at the BBC, I though I would like to raise a glass to the BBC radio, which broadcast its first ever programme 90 years ago today from 2 L O, Ally Pally (Alexandra Palace) in North London. So, here's to you, BBC, my constant companion for the last 72 years!! LL

Nice pic, bonny, that one I can see. Such a pity they stopped the BBC World radio service from broadcasting over here, I really miss it. LL
