Re: Bennett and his Yuman Rites
Bliny sounds extremely irritating, frankly, even at the distance of centuries. If only he had carried on shilly-shallying until Henry VIII had his codpiece trouble!
As for pretendypete, I am increasingly coming round to the WUM theory.

Wasn't PeterMac a Superintendent or some such? You can never tell with those. Sometimes they get fast tracked to stop them doing any more damage.
And look at the way he lifted those shutters from outside. He did try to make a noise but he wasn't very successful. So I am going for Stupid.
Sadly, The Police are not allowed to sack someone for being stupid.

Yes, he was Superintendent in Nottighamshire. His nickname was Ranker, spelled with a wubbleyouSabot wrote:

How old was he when he retired? That could tell us something.

Did they have to pay him off to get rid of him?

No, they didn't pay him off. Strange that nobody has a good word about him. Even stranger that Pretendy Pete doesn't even know his own force code, which is useful if contacting another force, and they know where messages are from.

So a complete dipstick then.

Anti-semitic poster investigation
Special Branch officers have been called in to investigate anti-semitic posters, apparently produced by Muslims, which have appeared in Nottingham. Chief Inspector Peter MacLeod, of Carlton police, said: "This has been recorded as a racist incident. We take anything which shows an intolerance to any religious or racial group very seriously" (Nottingham Evening Post, 22.07.96). Mohammed Ishaq, a Muslim spokesperson in Nottingham, said: "The police are right to investigate this because it can cause real problems. Older Muslims are more aware of the truth, but it is easy for these groups to make the youth believe whatever they want by twisting the words of the Koran" (Nottingham Evening Post, 22.07.96). Re: Bennett and his Yuman Rites
Thank you, Tony. What a hypocrite.
Can anyone explain to me what a Retired Police Superintendent is doing saying such terrible things about a couple against whom there is No Evidence?
A Retired Police Superintendent who is actively engaged in Libel and attempts to prove that this couple are guilty. And who then carries on to encourage another seriously deranged individual to break the Law.
And people wonder why The British People in general have no respect for The Police.

Sabot, I found the report ironic too. I guess excops forget their years of experience and morality, once they retire.Sabot wrote:

Did he even mean what he said, Tony? Or is this the way in which he got up the ladder? He isn't showing any signs of being unbiased or supporting The Law at the moment.
You know, that quaint old custom of Innocent until proven Guilty.
Leopards don't change their spots you know. Certainly not this drastically.

Indeed it is Bonny. Especially, when you know, he was the one who ridiculed the minister giving the service for the little missing Welsh child.bb1 wrote:It's hard to believe its the same person, isn't it?

Re: Bennett and his Yuman Rites
I find Bennett's hypocritical God-bothering most offensive, coming from such an UN-Christian person. Whatever would Jesus have said about Bennett's activities?

Re: Bennett and his Yuman Rites
Let's face it, Bonny, he is a relatively attractive man, and he will have looked good in uniform. Everyone wants to get to the top, and when they don't have intelligence they use persona. And no doubt The Police do the same thing.
I am not a great lover of the term, "True Colours", but that is what it is looking like to me. But it is still an utter disgrace that someone who swore to uphold The Law is now so blatantly abusing it.

Bennett thinks he is Jesus. He wants to be crucified. He just doesn't have the nerve to say so. But he is an Old Testament Man. He knows nothing about compassion which is what Jesus stood for.

It's desperation, Bonny. And I never could resist a uniform. To my cost.
