Re: SCOTLAND YARD ANNOUNCEMENT - WORKING WITH PORTUGAL ON ASSUMPTION MADELEINE IS ALIVE
My friends, this was taken from SIC news channel:

British police wants to question Portuguese about the disappearance of Madeleine McCann
British police said today it opened an investigation into the disappearance of British girl Madeleine McCann in Portugal and identified 38 "persons of interest" to be heard across Europe, including Portugal.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police, who initiated a review of the case last year, told Lusa today that "there are Portuguese and British" among the 38 people identified as "of interest" for the investigators.
Of these, 12 are British and the remaining five are from different countries, including Portugal, the same source said, saying that for now, will not be given further details.
A statement issued by Scotland Yard says that is "an advanced state" dialog with the respective authorities of the persons concerned for information.
Read also that those responsible for the investigation, entitled "Operation Grange," asked "formally" to the Crown Prosecution [much like the British prosecutors but in Portuguese] to submit one International Rogatory to the Portuguese authorities to ask for help in obtaining statements concerning lines of inquiry they wish to follow.
"This was done with the full support of the British Government," the statement added.
To carry out the investigation, the British Metropolitan Police wants to have a "small number" of agents in Portugal, within the practice of mutual assistance.
The British press had advanced several weeks ago the hypothesis Scotland Yard opened its own investigation into the case, following the review opened in 2011 by intervention of the Prime Minister, David Cameron.
At the time, police confirmed that a delegation of senior officials of the Crown Prosecution and detectives visited Portugal in mid-April to discuss the next steps with the Portuguese authorities.
Madeleine McCann disappeared a few days before to four years, May 3, 2007, the room where she was sleeping with her two twin brothers, younger, in an apartment of a tourist resort in Praia da Luz in the Algarve.
Parents and another British Robert Murat, were made arguidos by the Portuguese authorities in July 2007, but the July 21, 2008, the Attorney General's Office determined the filing of suspicion, which spelled the end of the investigations.
Parents, Kate and Gerry McCann, holds a campaign for years to find the child and publicly advocate the reopening of the process.
Last year a team was established at Scotland Yard to review the case at the request of Prime Minister David Cameron, whose work analysis of more than 40,000 runs and document cost, according to local media, more than two million pounds (2.34 million euros).

British police opens own investigation on Madeleine McCann case
Gerry and Kate McCann feel that this is "a big step forward." In Portugal, the investigation remains closed
The British authorities decided on Thursday to open a formal investigation into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann in Praia da Luz, Algarve, May 3, 2007. In Portugal, the authorities understand that the new facts do not justify the reopening of the case.
According to sources of the British police, the two years of analysis of the case that was filed in Portugal showed that there are new leads and new witnesses to investigate. The team, which was always in collaboration with national authorities, found "38 persons of interest" to be interviewed. Twelve of these people are British citizens who were in Portugal at the time of the disappearance.
In Portugal, the Judicial Police stated that in the view of the Portuguese authorities, there is not enough relevant evidence to allow the reopening of the investigation'. Despite the new facts, the same source explains that "national authorities are not constrained" by an inquiry in the UK that meets the assumptions of the criminal law in Britain.
The teams that analyzed the case in England in the last two years moved to Portugal 16 times, having maintained contacts with the Judicial Police and other authorities. The collaboration between the British authorities and national will continue to progress as far and any action of the British police in Portugal will occur upon the assumptions of the "law of international judicial cooperation in criminal matters'.
"Our relationship has been positive and we are grateful for the cooperation so far," writes the British police.
The statement from the British police also said they are now being made efforts to interrogations occurring citizens of other member states. In Portugal, the authorities need not for nationals in the list of suspects.
Gerry and Kate McCann feel that this is "a big step forward."
British police took the case when the British Prime Minister, David Cameron, in 2011, responded to the call of the parents of the missing girl.
"A review of the case brought us a new way of thinking, new theories, new evidence and new witnesses" confirmed Inspector Andy Redwood.
In a statement published on its website, British police said that the process is 'complex' and had translation problems with more than 30,000 documents sent from Portugal.
"We continue to believe that Madeleine may still be alive," says the same note.

Deluded hounder:
It looks as if the MET binned the e-book.
What? They didn't seriously think the Yard was going to pay any attention to pretendypete's error-strewn, bigoted rubbish, which is only a rewrite of Bennett's error-strewn, bigoted rubbish?
It went the same way as Bennett's 'dossiers' and hoho's vile propaganda fillums.
In the big filing cabinet with RUBBISH FROM NUTTERS written on it.

On the ongoing meltdown in haterland.
And - how funny! LOOKAMEE!!!! has finally got something right! She's definitely going nowhere. Not that anyone greatly cares, because as of today, they are all as about as relevant to finding Madeleine McCann as turnips are to space travel.
The only difference is that turnips are harmless, unlike sickos who demand the world writes off an abducted child as dead, at her parents' hands.
Whether the Amaral fans like it or not, the McCanns, and their friends, have been completely, totally EXONERATED today.

This is funny, but then, yoyo always is:
Re: Just on twitter - SY ANNOUNCEMENT 2pm TODAY!
Post aiyoyo Today
Note:
For a change, Mr & Mrs did not come onto National TV to proclaim they are excited at the MPS statement that Maddie may still be alive!
So why are they and their pink spokes-creature in hiding when they should be singing from the rooftop?
Deluded fool thinks Clarrie (I assume that's who it's being rude about) is in hiding. When he's actually speaking to the media...
A spokesman for the McCanns, Clarence Mitchell, said: "Kate and Gerry warmly welcome this shift in the Metropolitan police emphasis. They see it as a huge step forward in establishing what happened and hope that it will lead to bringing to justice whoever was responsible for Madeleine's abduction."

Kate and Gerry McCann the driving force behind Madeleine investigation
After years of relentless searching for clues to their daughter's disappearance, the McCanns now have full police support
Sandra Laville, crime correspondent
guardian.co.uk, Thursday 4 July 2013 14.01 BST
Kate and Gerry McCann were absent when the detective who represents probably the last hope of finding their daughter Madeleine, calmly outlined the new evidence he had unearthed about her disappearance.
They were not in the room, but they were the driving force behind what is the most significant development in the hunt for Madeleine since the inconclusive Portuguese investigation was shelved in 2008.
After many years in which they have pursued a relentless and at times lonely search without police guidance for any clues about what happened to their daughter, the McCanns are now being supported throughout by a family liaison officer from the Metropolitan police.
"They are being kept up to date with every development," said Deputy Assistant Commissioner Martin Hewitt.
That support will continue in the weeks and months ahead as the complex police inquiry, which is being run from the UK with the help of the Portuguese and other European police forces, develops.
It was the McCanns' dogged determination that led to the creation of the Met police review of all the evidence and information in the case in 2011.
After years of using private detectives to pursue fleeting sightings and clues which dissolved into nothing, Kate and Gerry McCann turned in desperation to David Cameron for help. His request to the Metropolitan police to review the case was embraced by the senior investigating officer, Detective Chief Inspector Andy Redwood.
While some questioned the scale of the task the Met was taking on, Redwood and his team set out to first collect the tens of thousands of documents from the various authorities and private detective agencies involved, then to have them translated and later put into the police system using the latest computer software to sift and cross-check information.
It is an ongoing task which Redwood admits has been an enormous challenge. But the careful and forensic nature of the process has cleared a path through the mountains of documents and identified the leads and potential suspects for which Madeleine's parents have longed.
In the background, the negotiations with the Portuguese prosecutors and police have been continuous. This investigation, the Met says, is being done hand in hand with their Portuguese colleagues in a determined effort to move the inquiry forward.
As the police team move into the phase of a full-blown criminal investigation, Scotland Yard is asking for media restraint. If and when arrests take place that call will no doubt be severely tested, but the police hope that this time round there is enough support in place to help the McCann family through the developments as they unfold.
Whatever happens next with the inquiry, it is the tenacity of Kate and Gerry McCann which has created what amounts to the best opportunity yet of finally finding the truth about the disappearance of Madeleine.

Somehow, I doubt it, as the Yard doesn't seem greatly interested in the migratory habits of Morroccan wildfowl...not that many are.
This is funny - from earlier today:

I believe that Blacksmith has contacts in the UK as well as in Portugal and knows what he is talking about.
He led an awful lot of these idiots up the garden path, didn't he - and very few of them saw through his bullsh*t and bluster. No wonder so many of them are in tears today, after being promised so much by smiffy!
It's Coldwater all over again, they really should grow up and learn from their mistakes, and the foolishness of following false prophets.

Hope Amaral hasn't left it too late to write that cheque to the McCanns?

Even one of the hounders is trying to bring some reality to proceedings:
Andy Redwood has made a statement on TV which both I and Pershing 36 heard as in the top line above, underlined. It was also repeated by Graham Wettone, former MET police officer in a later Sky News interview.
To my mind "totally eliminated from the investigation" means "totally eliminated" or does it have another meaning I'm missing the point of.
What is so hard to grasp about that? The McCanns and their friends have been TOTALLY ELIMINATED from the investigation.

I may be way off here but, I get the distinct impression Law Enforcement knows exactly who they are after and where Madeleine is.
Why else would they warn people of interest they are coming after them?
You can't deny today's announcement was a shot across the abductor's bow.

Interview with Robert Murat:

Robert Murat: New McCann inquiry 'would mean a huge amount'
The man falsely accused of kidnapping Madeleine McCann says he is desperate for the case to be solved.
As British police announced they are launching a new investigation into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, Robert Murat - the British man who was falsely accused of kidnapping her - spoke exclusively to Channel 5 News.
Commenting on the new investigation, Mr Murat said: “It would mean a huge amount and it’s something that’s actually been over my head in a way for the last six years and hasn’t gone away, and never will go away.
"Because unfortunately you do always have two sides to every situation.
"You will always have people that have the feeling that it was you involved and it would be nice to have that put away once and for all".
He said the delay in creating a fresh investigation means opportunities have been lost.
Mr Murat continued: “A lot of time has passed and a lot of stuff has happened that I am sure has been lost.
“I actually have been thinking of the situation and one of the biggest things that I really don’t understand is why this hasn’t been done a long time ago.
"Why this wasn’t done in 2007 and where was co-operation between the British and Portuguese Police in 2007?”
He said he felt "quietly hopeful" about the new investigation, adding, "It is kind of a rollercoaster in a lot of senses, and over the last few years it will be quite nice to be able to be on one line as such rather than ups and downs and all over the place".

Re: SCOTLAND YARD ANNOUNCEMENT - WORKING WITH PORTUGAL ON ASSUMPTION MADELEINE IS ALIVE
There is good news and there is sadness about today's announcement.
The good news is that the people who actually know what they are talking about, who have interviewed the McCanns and their friends, who have interviewed hundreds of others, who have combed properly translated files for two years; these people have ruled out the McCanns and are able to state categorically that there is no proof that Madeleine McCann is dead.
The sadness is related to the response from those addicted to the hate. They have reacted with total predictability. They have no answers so are opting for one or other of their stand bys. Either they are in total denial like the mad Irish who still has two accounts on the Controversy site or they are venting the most obscene filth like the disgusting RothleyPillow person. The sadness is that they are unable to see beyond the hate they have built up and recognise that they are in fact total freaks of nature whose reasons for their hounding of the McCanns have been shown to be nothing more than figments of their perverted (and that of the liar Amaral who was booted off the case) imaginations. So sad that such idiots have been allowed to continue with this criminal harassment for so long.
But there are two other aspects to today's news as well. Whilst it may not be sub judice at the moment the case is certainly now directly the responsibility of the UK Police and criminal harassment of witnesses (the McCanns for example) in such a case is a serious offence. I wonder just how long the Met will allow people like Sean Hyland, Lizzy Taylor, Vanessa Sluming, JillyCL, RothleyPillow, the very dodgy person impersonating a UK doctor and all their minions to continue this criminal harassment. Its no longer only the McCanns who can take action against these people.
Also the other good aspect of the case is that the UK officer in charge of the Met Police inquiry has clearly implied that the original PT investigation was seriously flawed. Will this, I wonder, force the hand of the PT authorities into instigating a full inquiry into the way in which Amaral conducted himself and his team back in 2007 before he was booted off the case for his own inability to control his big mouth?
Will those freaks on twitter and those leaders of the Controversy site pay heed to the conclusions of the Met Police or will they continue with their deluded questions based on news reports from 2007 and films from Liz Taylor which use the libelous claims from those papers and the INTERIM report of the PJ (not the full report which did not agree)? Will all those people whose names have been added to the site enjoy the fact that they are now members of a site which is totally at odds with the stated findings of a full Met Police Review? Will they enjoy explaining to their families why they are involved in attacking publicly the parents of a missing child who have been cleared by the Police of the UK and Portugal?
My first prediction is that the rancid repugnant ringleaders will remain, that many of the names will remain on that Controversy site largely because they do not know they have been added to such an obnoxious page or because they are too thick to realise that they are being led up the garden path by obsessive haters.
My second prediction is that some will see sense and remove their names from that site because they realise that there is no honesty there and no genuine desire for truth.
My third prediction is that there will be lots of new members, the sadistic and sick of society who want to join for the fun of harassing people. They will be the same people who sign up to other hate sites on facebook and have no motive other than to be part of a nasty campaign.
My fourth prediction is that Liz Taylor, the garage doorr painter of Toronto, Canada who thinks she is a better detective than those from Scotland Yard who have debunked her claims, is going to be visited by police very soon regarding her libel and her interference in a missing child case.

I agree, no-one cares about the cannon fodder who just repeat their endless rubbish, 24/7, they aren't of any interest, just pathetic inadequates of some kind or another.
But those who have deliberately meddled, who have organised hate campaigns against the McCanns and others, who have churned out foul propaganda - they're another matter entirely.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if the police want to know why they've gone to such lengths to protect child abductors. And Hoho seems to forget she isn't in the States. She's in Canada, which has very similar laws, and the same Head of State, as the UK.
IMO, Amaral is in BIG trouble in Portugal; an attempt is being made to paint him as somehow representing the PJ, which couldn't be further from the truth. As we know, the PJ have very much distanced themselves from him, not least by trying to stop his police pension, etc. I can see him facing criminal charges before this is over.

I agree:
"At last, a PROPER INVESTIGATION by PROPER POLICE instead of that INCOMPETENT piece of sh*t GONCALO AMORAL.
Let's all hope that they find Madeleine and the sicko(s) who took her.
