GONC DOESN'T OWN THE BOOK OF PIES

An awful lot of hot air is being expanded in pitchforkerland, about Gonc's suffering due to his not having possession of 'his' books.

Small snag - they aren't his.

They are the property of his former publishers, Guerra & Paz, and if they don't want them back (and who could blame them, after all the trouble Gonc has caused them) well, there isn't much Gonc can do about it, is there?

a) the Lisbon Appellate Court Judges has ordered on October 19, that Dr. Isabel Duarte, the trustee of the previously banned books, to restitute back those copies to the legitimate owner, i.e. Guerra & Paz book publishers;

There is, as we know, a slight problem with the precise terms of the court judgement, as Morais refuses to post the original Portuguese documents, just her version of them, and we all know how reliable her translations are, and how fond she is missing bits she doesn't like out of translations.

As she did with a key passage in the Final Report.

But - there it is, the books do not belong to Gonc. So how can this statement by Carolina/Montclair be true?

It rather says it all, that his former publishers don't want the books...

Of course, none of this would be happening if the original verdict, IN PORTUGUESE, had appeared at any time.

Morais is not the only translator around; and even googlespeak is better than her censored reports.

The Appeals Court agreed with Gonçalo Amaral, and that was a “beautiful moment” that was used to plan the future. “The books remain illegally with their keeper, the McCanns’ lawyer, and I doubt that they still exist. Now, it is up to Guerra e Paz to ensure that the Appeals Court’s decision concerning the book ‘Maddie – The Truth of the Lie’ is fulfilled.” All in all, “over 120 000 copies have been sold”, and the book was translated for France, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany and Denmark.

So how can he take action when they aren't his books?

Oh, and you would think one CRIMINAL conviction involving false accusations would be enough for anyone; not Gonc, he has to go and make more.
