I hope I don't sound unsympathetic if I say it must be a relief for his family, as he left them long ago. I doubt if the man he was would have wanted to linger in twilight for so many years?
It's a sad day for Israel, but I hope I don't offend anyone by saying it's a merciful release in many ways.
