Mellor emailed recipients including the BBC, Newsnight, the Sun, the Guardian, Broken's publisher Hodder & Stoughton and Ms Keenan's literary agent.
She was appealing to them to 'investigate' her claims of inaccuracies in Broken and sent 239 tweets from January to March 2013.
Mellor is to have accused Ms Keenan of 'lying and cheating for years' and that she 'cons everyone and hides behind that abuse'.
The court heard she described the graphic abuse Ms Keenan wrote about in her book as 'titillation' for paedophiles and not the sort of thing a mother should publish for her own children to read.
Mellor wrote that Ms Keenan 'seeks attention, she needs to be adored and revered in order to get money', the jury was told.
'That's a flavour of the sort of bile which was coming out of Penny Mellor over this period,' said Mr Abell. '

The prosecutor could be talking about ANY of the haters and Gonzo fan club there.

So she is being tried for a Criminal Offence then. More ways than one to skin a cat.

I wonder if she ever thought she would be facing those criminal charges when she started out with her offensive tactics?

Yer, like Karma and all. And look what that has done for them. At one point I got heartily sick of hearing it, until it started to bite them on the bum.

They all should, IMO - and a good few of them would have been not so long ago.

Yes they should, Bonny.   So many sound just like her.

If you notice, she seems to want to be something 'better' than what she is.  

The titles that she has attached to herself of activist and researcher shows she wants people to think she is 'somebody'.  Plus, altering the  geographical location of Wolverhampton back to Staffordshire instead of saying West Midlands is telling too.

She screams out that she is jealous of her targets.  Many people can feel jealous from time to time but they do not act out.  

That in itself screams of mental illness of some sort of another?
