A Russian Su-24 fighter has been shot down in Syria, the Russian Defense Ministry said, adding the plane hadn’t violated Turkish airspace and was flying at an altitude of 6,000 meters.
“During the flight, the aircraft was flying within the borders of Syria, which was registered by objective monitoring data,” the ministry said, adding that the aircraft was "supposedly shot down from the ground.”

Two RT correspondents have sustained injuries after a press convoy was shelled on the Turkish-Syrian border. One of the reporters sustained serious injuries after a missile exploded near a car carrying RT crew members.

he crew were passing the village of Al-Dagmashliya in the province of Latakia, controlled by President Bashar Assad’s forces, when they came under shelling.


RT’s Roman Kosarev sustained a concussion while RT Arabic’s Sargon Hadaya was injured by pieces of shrapnel in his back and leg.

Kosarev said that the press convoy was hit by an anti-tank missile coming from a rebel-controlled area some 2.5 km away.

Obviously, this is the very definition of absurdity. It would be bad enough if the US were supplying TOWs to anyone in Syria. But this is Washington and Riyadh handing anti-tank missiles to forces that are firing them at the Iranians who are operating under cover of Russian airstrikes. Just to drive that home: the US is waging war against Iran and Russia with but one degree of separation.

The story so far:

NATO member Turkey shoots down Russian fighter jet and dreams up some cock and bull story (see earlier charts) to try to explain away what it has done.

Both Russian pilots eject.

Both Russian pilots are then murdered as they come in to land by the local branch of the FSA (supplied and backed by Washington), and their bodies abused. All this is filmed by said FSA, as they chant Aluha Akbar!

Meanwhile, Russian helicopters are searching for the missing pilots. At least one Russian helicopter is then shot down by the local branch of the FSA (Washington approved) using TOW missiles supplied by Washington.

Putin goes on TV, white with fury, going on about backstabbing, etc. World hides under nearest desk.
