I am happy to say I haven't got any of the horrid white stuff

It's pretty cold, but nothing worse, fingers crossed.

Lucky you, bonny, we've got more than enough to spare! -10C outside though the sun is shining and no snow is falling. However, -13C is forecast. I like the snow but now I am a bit less than nimble I do find it hard-going trudging up and down to the barn for the firewood. LL

After last year, LL, I have developed an abiding loathing of the stuff. Cold and dry I can manage

I am so looking forward to some snow. If we even get any. I have got wood stacked in all sorts of weird places, under plastic and other suitable things like my garden bench and my outdoor plant stand.. I do this at the first hint of cold weather.

Cold in Portugal, specially at night, sun during day.

Some Geyser, so I heard. All piss and wind.

I´m already use to it. Hot summer, cold winter, only volcanoes, but that is in Madeira or Azores.

Definitely an improvement on cold, wet summer, even colder, wetter winter, Pedro. On the other hand - we don't have to worry about running out of water!

Yes bb1, rainy winter in Portugal too, although this year, more cold than rain.
