Agree totaly, the less that is told about Pats findings the better, Pat is one clever girl and I dont believe she is going to release anything that will pre-arm the "culprits" of this crime......whoever it is? will be glued to the "net" knowing exactly what Pat is doing, yes I too was waiting patiently praying she would be telling all, but thinking about it seriously, if Pat finds anything, the last place to put it on is FB, Twitter or on any forums imo.

Lillyofthevalley - Pat will have her own methods and I have every confidence that she is taking careful steps out there in her search for Madeleine. I had perhaps expected a daily sort of diary telling us generally what she had been upto e.g. examined the environment at night and in daylight, looked for possible abduction routes, visited the beach for potential hiding places, questioned what locals might do if they had a fridge freezer to dispose - where do you take? - spoke to staff who were at the Ocean Club that night, spoke to the priest etc etc but not then try and blog the details and her conclusions just yet - more compile a full report for a later date. If the pro's think she is going to reveal anything of real substance to them on FB etc then they underestimate her at their - and Mr & Mrs Mc's peril imo!!

I had an email from her yesterday. She says she's fine and just overwhelmed with reviewing things and finding time to blog. The tone of the email seemed pretty happy so I think she's just taking her time and being careful after the somewhat difficult start with what turned out to be "treegate"!

Yep, you are right. I haven't time atm to read the thread properly. I was thinking that JP was aking who had the pseudonym of Daisy, whose writing style was it. Having reread it and the follow up, it clearly was not about that.

I have a good feeling about this. Like others I found the silence from Pat at first frustrating, then worrying. I even wondered the other night if she was ok and was worried she might have been whooshed. Then she blogged about the dogs, Eddie and Keela sprung to my mind straight away, I have no idea why !

Now I see it as a positive. If she were blogging her every move every day I would feel that she does not consider what she is writing of huge importance. The silence might give hope for there in fact being new information, information she might want to share with the right people before blogging.

Or else I am just deluded and looking for hope where there is none.....

Finally got there.....

It's almost sad; they know they've been sold down the river yet again, but are clinging to the last shreds of forlorn hope.

Here's the thing. There was nothing at all stopping Brown from surfacing once or twice a day just to say, I'm in PDL, or wherever.

But she hasn't even bothered to tweet. She tried to lie her way out of this by moaning about the internet in Portugal, when the reality is that Portugal has just about the best internet provision in Europe.

We've had two photo-ops, a blog entry that made her a laughing stock, a load of excuses and photos of dogs.

Don't ask me difficult questions, just look at the dogs, Aw, puppy, cute!

Yet still they hang on desperately, trying to tell themselves that all will be well as soon as she's back in the states and can - what? Blog freely? Not be distracted by anything in real life?

They really need to face it - when it came right down to it, Brown couldn't cut it.

do you Lillyofthevalley thinks that she can do this? you´re wrong, this pat is no police officer, if she starts with such behaviour she may not enjoy PDL´s residents comments, if PJ knows about pat´s behaviour, she may be warned about such behaviour, which is disturbing the peace in PDL. Of course, this is my opinion.

I can understand why she doesn't want to publicise things but I do find it difficult to believe that the hotels do not have internet or that there are no internet cafes. Even apartments usually have some sort of internet access.

Portugal has some of the best internet access in Europe. Brown's a fibber

Do you know, Bonny, I can forgive most people most things, but not this one. The Pitch Forkers could well have succumbed to mass hysteria and the well know effects of a Cult. Even Bennett could claim care and concern for small children if you really stretch your imagination, at least in the Case of Madeleine McCann.
But Pat Brown is plainly and simply a nasty bitch and a media whore. She knows only too well that she influences the opinions of the disaffected and encourages them to bay for blood. People who could well finish up on Juries.
I refuse to believe that she is stupid because she plainly isn't, and I wouldn't forgive her if actually found Madeleine.
Not that she invades my thought very much at all. She is just a laugh to me. But she will live to regret this one.

She would probably have got away with this for long enough, Sabot, if her only audience had been a bunch of rednecks who had never been further than the gate of the trailer park.

She can't do it in Europe, where people hop on planes to everywhere from Portugal to Poland for stag/hen parties, and everyone knows about little things like internet access.

She especially can't do it with this particular case, where the actual police files and reports have been in the public domain for nearly four years.

Here's a thing; do you suppose that, at any point in her anti-McCann campaign, Brown has made any attempt at all to follow the Portuguese media? Or has she just gone along with the Morais line?

You know, the one where 'everyone' in Portugal hates the McCanns, and 'everyone' supports Gonc?
