worldwide we are going to arrange a day in august for pink balloons to be released in aid to help the search for madeleine mccann all you have to do is get a pink balloon add a poster picture of madeleine and hopefully some downloadable balloon tags will be available. and release thm at your location more details when we know more.

On the 12th August we would like everyone to release a pink balloon with a label about Madeleine attached to remind the world that this little girl is still missing, still missed.

Kelly has labels that she can send out to anyone who needs them at a cost of £1 to cover posting ect.. We also have some downloadable balloon labels kindly designed by Wendy (featured on this page).

Please share this event with family and friends. Help make this event the success it deserves to be.

Kate and Gerry are aware of this event and they are happy that people wish to support Madeleine.

Please take photos of your balloon release and email to webmaster@findmadeleine.co​m

If you are concerned about releasing a balloon; you could light a candle or put a poster up in your local shop, cafe, hotel and take a picture.

The purpose behind this event is too raise awareness of Madeleine McCann a missing child.

thanks to helens friend who wrote this for our pink balloon event.A dear friend of mine has written this poem for our Pink Balloon for Madeleine event ~

Pink balloon day is almost here
a day to remember this child
hoping to find her for mum and dad
and for her homecoming to be ever so near

As the pink balloons go soaring
up into the bright blue sky
I know that I will be thinking
there but for the grace of God go I

All it would take is one person
to find one balloon that's let go
to recognise dear little Madeleine
for it then to be all systems go

So please on the 12th day of August
take one moment to do this for her
you never know it might be your balloon
which could find her and cause quite a stir
