Bennett Statement re Bugs On Houndation Site

WEBSITE PROBLEMS
We are aware that for some people trying to access our site, a virus warning comes up which, of course, deters people from entering the website. WE APOLOGISE FOR THIS AND ARE TRYING TO RECTIFY IT.
We are not sure of the source of the problems, none of us are tecchies where websites are concerned. It is said by some that it is a Javascript problem, others say it is caused by photos used on the site, we are still trying to find out. The site gets many visitors but we'd like all people to be able to read our articles so we will do what we can to solve the problem. No-one who has actually visited our site has reported any problems with their computer after doing so. If anyone has technical expertise in this area, please contact us.
Our hosters understand we run a controversial site. We have a policy of correcting errors in our material if an error can be substantiated and on occasions we have removed material that Carter-Ruck alleges to be libellous.
We have always maintained that the McCanns have made a claim, and that anyone is entitled to question a claim made by someone else.
No-one who has actually visited our site has reported any problems with their computer after doing so.

Anyone without a decent virus program could have problems. It embeds itself and you may never know it has until your comp starts running slower or freezes forcing you to restart your pc.

But, it doesn't hurt to update and run your virus program if you are experiencing problems.

It is notorious for demanding readers download Korean javascript, for some bizarre reason.
I haven't had major problems, but I have had a few warnings to get out ASAP.

Bonny, I am being serious. The virus has been manually embedded. It isn't coming from the Korean Java.

I know you are serious, Tony - an awful lot of people have had problems on that site. I try to avoid it, unless I have a very good reason, which isn't often.
