A British pensioner is believed to have died in the Spanish wildfire that is sweeping through the Costa del Sol.
The burnt body of a 78-year-old, who has not been named, was discovered in his toolshed. It is believed he had been evacuated from his home but returned to the hillside property at La Mairena, overlooking Marbella.
Three hundred British tourists have fled in terror from the raging wildfire.
One Briton caught up in the evacuation, Kimberley Stone, a British woman on holiday with her family in southern Spain, has told how they were forced to flee their apartment as the inferno approached.
