Trio exploited minors in brothels

A couple and a man of 63, held by the Judiciary Police (PJ), are suspected of operating two brothels in the city of Lisbon, where two were under 17, police source told Lusa.

The arrests of the woman of 26 years, her fellow of 42, and the sexagenarian alleged partner in the business, were announced on Thursday by the PJ, in a statement. The three elements were arrested for rape, pimping (encouraging prostitution) and pimping of minors.

According to the same source, the investigation began after a complaint of a violation that occurred in one of the houses. During the investigations, the authorities were to find two minors, aged 17, who also prostituted in homes operated by the three detainees. The investigation was conducted by the Directorate of Lisbon and Tagus Valley.

In a statement, PJ informs that, in compliance with arrest warrants, made several house searches, in which the seized material related to illicit.

The three suspects will be present at the first court hearing on Friday for implementation of any measures of coercion.

Lisbon: Young boy Young boy abuses child of seven years

The Judiciary Police (PJ) said on Thursday it arrested a 19 year-old on suspicion of sexual abuse of a child of seven.

In a statement, PJ explains that the victim, the male is the family owned, adding that the crimes occurred in the family home, situated in the district of Lisbon.
After first judicial interrogation, the young man was in custody, police source told Lusa. The investigation was conducted by the directory Lisbon and Tagus Valley of PJ.

Disgusting; I hope the police hauled in the customers who were using the brothel, too.
