Yes, there were two scribes. They will not provide a verbatim report of what was said but I am hoping to have a fullish written report from them of all the proceedings in 7-10 days from now

And bumping that stupid trolley down the High Court steps? Did you notice the fat female in the beige trying to hide behind him - must be one of the lovely Houndettes.

I liked the bit where he apologised to the court for, what was it, trespass? On their authority, I presume.

Oh, and I especially liked the bit where the voice-over made it crystal clear that the Attorney General of Portugal made it clear that the McCanns had been cleared of any crime.

We all knew that all that frantic bouncing and hypocritical praying was going to end in Tears Before Bedtime.

But who could have foreseen it would end with Head Hounder quitting his hate campaign, on telly?

I am sure Bren or someone with more teccy skills than me will put it on YouTube for everyone to enjoy.

I bet they don't know what he's done yet, muratfan - it will take a while for it to percolate their 'brains'.

1. No, it was Bennett who kept telling the falsehood that they were trying to jail him; the more literate of us read the court documents for ourselves and saw a suspended sentence was being asked for.

2. No, it's Bennett who has just bottled it. On the BBC telly news. As seen by millions.

Hmm, and also in those pages was a certain Jill Havern's contact details. He claimed that he asked her to remove libellous posts and she refused.
