I was fascinated by the Black Death skeletons; always vaguely worries me that the disease is still hanging around in these plague pits.....

According to the man in charge the reporter spoke to, plague is airborne, passed on by sneezing, doesn't stay in the ground. The biggest threat of a repeat of the Black Death will always be from the main carriers, black rats. LL

I'm not convinced, I think it's like Quatermass....you wouldn't catch me digging them out without a Hazmat suit. biggrin
