So, why won't the 8rs read Kate McCann's book?

I ask because this is today's meme in 8rland:

I haven't read the book but I did just read this on Jill's forum (thanks to Peter Mac), apparently it's on page 2 of the Foreward:

" I have had to keep saying to myself: I know
the truth, we know the truth and God knows the truth. And one day, the
truth will out.
Yet publishing the truth is fraught with risks for our family. "

What on earth does she mean? So what truths does she know that she doesn't want to publish?

Why not read it and find out, instead of speculating? Mayhap because they won't like what they read? About how Kate knows it will just leave them open to more criticism from the likes of them, whatever she writes?

That she is baffled as to what makes them do it? That she doesn't understand why the likes of them want to add to the pain the McCann family is suffering?

No, they would rather choose to carry on making up rubbish. Thereby neatly proving Kate McCann's point.

They really ought to read the book, see how the rest of the world regards them and their heroes.

Just in case the 8rs haven't yet grasped it, pretendypete did NOT quote the rest of the paragraph - no doubt because that would have revealed the context in which it was written.

Which is bafflement at the need of some to be viciously cruel.
