Yep. Person does mean "no one" in French, but only in an entirely different context. So she can't even translate French into English.
And "Person" also means "Anyone?" it is normally a question.

IMO, she knew perfectly well what it meant, Sabot. We really should congratulate her; she's succeeded in throwing yet more doubt on the online translations by her and her chums.

And Yes, LL, you are almost certainly right. But if someone knocks on my door and calls what sounds to me like Person, they are actually asking if anyone is home.
On the other hand if I ask someone else if anyone is home they will say Person if no one actually is home. So it can mean No one or Anyone.

I see the forkers are up to their usual tricks - being obnoxious, then running crying to the mods if anyone dares stand up to them.
