Introduction

In August 2010 my son Jack died tragically in our pond he was 23 months old. I have spent the past 12 months campaigning that the current bereavement leave be reviewed and be legislated to a more reasonable number of days off. Currently it seems that most employers bereavement policies are for 3 days and 1 has to be the funeral. It can take up to 10 days to organise a funeral I know from experience.
This petition is in memory of Jack and to help other familes.
