Haters getting worked up over Clarence Mitchell. Again
They've got something new to froth and foam about.
PINKIE MITCHELL, short listed!

Former BBC royal correspondent shortlisted by Brighton Pavilion Conservatives
The former BBC reporter who acts as spokesman for the family of missing Madeleine McCann has been shortlisted by Brighton Pavilion Conservatives.
Clarence Mitchell has represented Kate and Gerry McCann for almost six years after their daughter disappeared during a holiday in Portugal.
His previous jobs include heading the government’s Media Monitoring Unit and a 20-year career with the BBC.
He worked as a royal correspondent, political reporter and presenter during his time at the corporation, having trained as a reporter at the Westminster Press Training Centre in Hastings.
Since September 2011, Mr Mitchell, who was born in 1962, has been a managing director at public affairs firm Burson-Marsteller UK.
He is one of three candidates to have been shortlisted for the parliamentary seat. The winner will challenge Green MP Caroline Lucas for a place in the House of Commons at the next general election which is due to be held in May 2015.
One of Mr Mitchell’s rivals is Michelle Lowe, a marketing communications specialist and the deputy leader of Sevenoaks District Council.
The other is solicitor Jean-Paul Floru, who serves as a member of Westminster City Council. He is the author of What the Immigrant Saw, a book looking at Britain through the eyes of an immigrant from Belgium.
The Brighton Pavilion hustings are being held tomorrow (Thursday 25 July) and will be chaired by Councillor Ann Norman, who represents Withdean ward on Brighton and Hove City Council.
She said: “I’m delighted that our members have three excellent candidates to choose from.”
That must mean the Brighton Tories are IN IT too.

Re: Haters getting worked up over Clarence Mitchell. Again
Good luck to the man. He has a very successful career so far and this would be another step along the same lines. Not an easy seat for Tories to win though. Three parties all fairly close in last few years, Greens, Tories and Labour. But it once was very Tory and might return to those roots. It was a local man with a very big personal backing who broke their hold on the seat for Labour about 20 years ago and who later stood down for family reasons. The Greens then were riding high and stepped in. Perhaps this is the time for the three parties to really battle it out?

You said VERY SUCCESSFUL, Greenink - two words guaranteed to set the McCann-haters off.
Possibly because that's something they will never be.

I think Clarence Mitchell would make a very good MP. He does have integrity. And he has coped so very well with the hate spam thrown at him for the last six years.
I hope he gets it and I hope he wins.

Aren't the Trolls-for-Gonc stupid?
Do those dumbos really think Clarrie is going to give a flying one about their pathetic, desperate hatespam? I seem to recall he regarded Bennett's insults as a compliment.

@CsChristine66 about Clarence Mitchell the comments are very interesting #mccann
No, they're not. They're just the usual trolls-for-Gonc hatespamming. As predictable as it is pointless.

Oddly enough, it appears that the Brighton Tories have paid absolutely no heed to the Amaral fan club and picked Clarrie.
Brighton Pavilion Conservatives pick former BBC reporter to take on Caroline Lucas
The Conservative Party has chosen former BBC reporter Clarence Mitchell as its candidate for Brighton Pavilion this evening (Thursday 25 July).
Mr Mitchell, who has acted as the spokesman for the family of missing Madeleine McCann for six years, will take on Britain’s first Green MP Caroline Lucas at the next general election.
The election is expected to be held in May 2015.
Mr Mitchell joined the public affairs consultancy Burson-Marsteller UK as a managing director two years ago.
His previous jobs include being the director of the government’s Media Monitoring Unit and before that he spent 20 years at the BBC.
He worked as a royal correspondent, political reporter and presenter while at the corporation, having trained as a reporter at the Westminster Press Training Centre in Hastings.
Mr Mitchell’s most high-profile role has been to represent Kate and Gerry McCann after their daughter disappeared during a holiday in Portugal.
He has previously worked with the Conservative Party briefly and this evening he beat two other candidates to win the selection.

No doubt that will be danglybits' cue to cut out Clarrie's head yet again and stick it on another image yet again,

Re: Haters getting worked up over Clarence Mitchell. Again
Arlen Wood The comments are facts. It's a demonstration of the lack of trust.
No. It's a demonstration that Amaral supporters are as predictable as Pavlov's dogs. Just say the words 'McCann' or 'Clarence' and leave them an opening, and they will charge in with their hatespam.
The media, police, etc., know all about the McCann-haters, and no-one pays the slightest bit of attention to them, except as fodder for jokes.

Lily Wells Well if he short listed, he don't stand a cat in bells chance after these comments, McCanns are stuck with him
Numty failing to notice that the hatertrolls have been ignored and Clarrie has been chosen. Given their stunning track record of being 100% wrong, 100% of the time, Clarrie is probably going to take the seat back for the Tories with a huge majority.
Oh, and with all the predictability of sunrise in the east, danglbits has dragged out yet more ancient photoshopping.
Wonder if he's paid to make the numties look even worse than they manage by themselves?

jealousy is an ugly thing to feel, along with the same kind of behavior coming from antis, which is no surprise coming from haters.

Re: Haters getting worked up over Clarence Mitchell. Again
It could indeed be read that way, Sabot....which would naturally be wonderful publicity for Clarrie.
Remember, Bennett thought he had wounded and upset Clarrie when he was waffling on about how Clarrie controlled the media (in Bennett's imagination) and was a Master Media Manipulator.
Clarrie took that as a compliment and reckoned he deserved a pay rise.

Re: Haters getting worked up over Clarence Mitchell. Again
Jealousy oozes out of them, doesn't it, Pedro?
It was very telling that the vultures had managed to convince themselves that the McCanns were not only in hiding, they'd split up.
When the truth was they were getting on with their lives as best they can without Madeleine, holidaying in France, etc.
The only ones who are in hiding are Amoral, Morais and their ilk.
The McCanns are raising money for charity and Clarrie is standing for the Westminster parliament. Speaks for itself, doesn't it?

Re: Haters getting worked up over Clarence Mitchell. Again
I hate to have to point out the blindingly obvious to the hatertrolls (no I don't, who am I kidding?) but do they seriously think that the McCanns would be running marathons and triathlons, and Clarrie standing for parliament, if they didn't already KNOW that Amaral had folded, totally and utterly?
Not to mention the small matter of the Yard having no interest in them, except as victims, and the parents of an abducted child?
If the Gonc fan club cannot see what is biting them on the nose, it's no wonder they get everything 100% wrong, 100% of the time.

Zora McCartney They didn't approve my comment re Carlos Anjos calling him a liar and a Macchiavellian who lies with as many teeth as he has in his mouth and Brighton Tories being really dumb to be associated with this man especially at a time of growing awakening to the scam
Can't think why a paper wouldn't publish that load of abuse, lies and libel. It's a real puzzler.
