Gerry was deluded into believing he could fool all the people, all of the time, and lets face it, we almost had another tragedy on the scale of the death of Diana, such was the public response. Their campaign was successful beyond their wildest dreams. I tend to think these days that the McCann case will forever be linked to the birth of social networks, I may have said this elsewhere. Within hours Madeleine's face was was part of a chain mail campaign, one of those pass this on to at least 10 people or your doomed emails that are now happily spammed out, but they flourished in 2007. From the photos we have seen Kate and Gerry rarely left their laptops, the internet is a great leveler and they not only had access to the great and good, they were having doors flung open for them. They managed to convince 'everyone' that they were victims, money would help them find their daughter and it was evil to question them.

Unfortunately for them, those heady days have now gone. The internet which turned them into a Cause Celebre, has blown apart their flimsy story because information is freely available, its not confined by borders anymore. The British public can find the true story behind this case, simply by Googling Madeleine McCann. Gerry's posturing with Hacked Off is comparable to King Canute attempting to order the tide to turn back. He truly believes he can keep the facts of the case away from the UK forevermore, and who can blame him, thus far he has been successful.

But back closer to topic, unfortunately such is the standard of education in this country we are still faced with the mentality, 'well I've got nothing to hide, so I don't care'. I usually ask such people if they are happy to have their medical and financial details on a large database, accessible to to every penpushing jobsworth who may, or may not, decide to make their lives a misery.

And then she whines when she is called a HATER.

ROSALINDA HUTTON ... and, and defend it to the end. Erm, I, I can't, I, you know, I, I can't explain their their motives. Erm, I, I suspect that possibly they are paid shills as they're known online.

Very telling that Hutton thinks people have to be paid to stand up for human rights in a democracy, for the rule of law, not the mob, and for hard-won civil liberties and protection for themselves and their families from malicious falsehoods.

But they're prepared to act like a fascist lynch mob for free.

She did state black being white (or vice versa). That's their language.

Why the haters think they are entitled to see other people's medical records is a mystery. Though I'm sure we would all like to see theirs, as so many of them clearly have alcohol/drugs/mental health 'issues' - sometimes all three at once.

Interesting, is that. Their medical and financial records would obviously br so much more fascinating than The McCann's could ever be.
I mean, we got to see Bennett's financial records, and what a revelation they were. And of course, we do know a bit about his medical history.
Meanwhile, Rosalind Mutton is generally exposing herself.

Sabot, they do it to themselves every time. Inserting themselves into police matters seems to go with their vast egos and attention-seeking.

Why do they think it's good to mention their mental health issues, their monitoring by social services and their drug habits, not to mention the slums that some of them live in?
And then proceed to slag off The McCanns for being ordinary, law abiding citizens who had the misfortune to have their daughter abducted?
Could it be the foreign holiday, the detached house and the professions that both of the McCanns had to work hard to attain?

Actually, I'm surprised that most of their children haven't been taken into care, although I suspect that some of them have.

What a complete and absolute joke that woman, Hutton is! From what I can see she has been caught out as a liar, attention seeker and someone who could not be trusted to write an account of the local jumble sale accurately as she exaggerates everything she writes.

But having been found out by Jayelles (and others on pro and anti forums) to be a serial liar, and a proven hater she is now screaming like a stuck pig about her rights having been abused.

The woman should have thought about that before she decided to get involved in the anti hate campaign against the innocent parents of a missing child..

It's absolutely clear that she has mental health issues (she has told everybody about them), that she is a regular user of cannabis and that she has a habit of getting drunk (both these are from her own words  too).  Perhaps one or more of these personal problems (or a combination of medication for bipolar or multiple personality disorder and use of cannabis or alcohol is to blame for her becoming a hater but there is no way that she can suggest she isn't one of the worst haters because her own posts prove that she is.

Rosalinda Hutton has destroyed her own career (if there ever was a proper career from writing pity-me stories to try to force compensation) and seems keen to take that destruction further. It is not, and never will be Jayelles or any of the others who have pointed out her hate campaign who will be facing police charges in the near future. If Rosalind Hutton is so keen to take the position that Bennett has been forced out of as TV spokesperson for the haters then she can expect the McCanns to react accordingly. Nobody should have to face the abuse she pours out about them especially when she is obviously upping her hate from blogs to TV.

She is really more to be pitied than castigated. She is an emotional mess, made worse by her own inability to cope with her own problems. But then most of them are.
