Joan's uncle leaves jail
My friends, this was taken from Correio da Manhã newspaper:
http://www.cmjornal.xl.pt/nacional/portugal/detalhe/tio_de_joana_sai_da_prisao.html
Joan's uncle leaves prison
fulfills 16 years and eight months by the niece murder. Already enjoyed first Probation.
João Cipriano, Joana's uncle who is serving 16 years and eight months in prison for participating with Leonor sister in the girl's murder in 2004, enjoyed the first precarious license penalty. Was spend Easter at the village of Figueira, Portimão, and has returned to chain Carregueira in Sintra municipality.
The middle of the penalty of João Cipriano was fulfilled September 23, 2013, when it began to be enabled, under the law, to enjoy probation. However, as the CM reported in June last year, the Court of Execution of Punishment (TEP) rejected the first appeal by Joan's uncle, who was eight years old when she was killed. At issue was the lack of recognition of the crimes, and the fact that four disciplinary sanctions in the reclusive condition.
However, when the CM known, João Cipriano again appeal to the TEP, and saw be granted the first probation sentence. The benefit was enjoyed in the Easter season. João Cipriano was in the village of Figueira, and returned to jail in the evening of Sunday, meeting the deadlines.

Oh my! I didn't think either of them would ever be allowed to see the light of day again! That should upset Gonzo and co - they will be terrified he starts speaking out.

Myths have spotted something I missed:
At issue was the lack of recognition of the crimes
So, he was denied probation longer because he DIDN'T admit to the crime. So much for the 'confession'.

Re: Joan's uncle leaves jail
Some very interesting material there, including an interview with Joana's stepfather.
AP - The family has insisted that someone from Figueira could be involved in this situation? We also believe that?
L.S. - I believe. A lady turned out to go to England even before the trial, ie, one year after the Joana had disappeared. My whole family thinks she may be involved in this case.
This woman doesn't appear to have been traced.
L.S. - I think the men of the Judiciary Portimão were not aggressive. Knew how to talk with us and tried to at least find something. Meanwhile, the Faro on the first day we came for, was soon to hit us when we got there. First it was a beating, after that did the questions. I think if the PJ of Portimão has continued to research, perhaps something had drawn somewhere.
If he hadn't been able to withstand the beating, no doubt he would have found himself in court accused of ghoulish crimes, too.

If the supposed 'evidence' against the Ciprianos had been put before a US or UK prosecutor, it would have been thrown out. The case would never have made it to court.

Furthermore, they would have been able to sue for gazilllions. Not that that ameliorates anything.

How on earth did I manage to miss this? Bennett is telling terrible lies about the case, again. Made me feel quite ill.

Bennett's problem is that lying, again, is not going to change reality, Sabot. But that never stops him being Outraged when reality fails to match whatever he's been lying about.

Oh, and Bennett may be in a panic for his idols, because Team Gonzo's power has rather been broken with the round-up of so many corrupt politicians and general sleazebags in the Algarve area.
And the rather stunning downfall of Cristovao.

I've just read that vomit-inducing liefest Bennett has quoted, written by none other than the forkers' pet ex-pat churnalist 'Natasha Donn' aka Harry_Lime of the Hounders.
Such propaganda is only to be expected from the likes of them. I wonder if she's going to be inventing any more 'German detectives'?

Re: Joan's uncle leaves jail
You have no idea how I pray for the serious downfall of Amaral. That vile, little, not so fat now, man has caused so much misery to so many, almost certainly innocent people, not including The McCanns. Everybody knows that they are innocent.
Interestingly enough, without any admission of guilt, Jaoa Cipriano went back to The Village. So they obviously don't think he is guilty.

Re: Joan's uncle leaves jail
They're as scared of the truth as any lying politician, Lily. If they were as concerned as they pretend about genuine justice, they would be demanding this case be retried.
Interesting, is it not, that they all cling to the tabloid ghoulery invented by Team Gonzo and leaked to rags like CdM? They ignore the fact that that was all thrown out of court, leaving nothing that would win a conviction in a country with a less lynch mobbing approach to high-profile crimes.
Don't forget, the PJ also tried to smear Rui Pedro's family to hide the fact that they botched that investigation, too. And that poor child is known to have been alive months after he was abducted, in the most appalling circumstances.

Definitely! We know that that lot support criminals. Look at the list of them who have joined their cause. Heaven knows how many more will be made known.
You make an extremely good point in that they should be demanding a retrial, but no, not they.
Goes to show what upstanding citizens they all are........NOT.

Re: Joan's uncle leaves jail
The Gonzo fan club should be demanding a retrial, Lily, to clear up all those questions about the 'investigation' that just won't go away, and prove their idol is indeed Number One Supercop.
But they don't, they threaten and smear anyone that questions the ghoulish nonsense they claim is 'evidence'. They ignore the fact that all that was thrown out of court, that one of the judges wanted the whole case thrown out.
They also ignore the fact that the locals don't think the Ciprianos are guilty.
They choose, instead, to believe every word of the garbage that vested interests planted in rags like CartofMuck.

Joana case
Five years after the disappearance of Joana Cipriano, the population of Figueira (Portimão), where she lived, do not forget the case and kept alive since a feeling of distrust of the unknown: almost all believe that the girl was sold or kidnapped.
Joana, eight, disappeared from that village the Algarve municipality of Portimão on 12 September 2004, about 20:30, after shopping at a café near the house mother's request.
Speaking to Lusa, several residents say the disappearance of Joana "stirred up" a sense of insecurity in the village, "forcing a constant attention and vigilance."
"Now I have more attention, not only to my children, as well as the other children I see on the street," says Fernando António, father of two children aged three and six years.
"I remain ever attentive to all the movements of strangers and even unknown, especially when approaching children, because you never know who around us," he noted, adding that the mistrust increases when "are sighted outsiders trying to talk to the minors. "
Cristina Campos, mother of a girl of eight years, sharing the same sentiment: "Even the neighbors came to distrust."
"As the case has never been clarified, we do not know who we can trust," he argued, saying that living "in constant jolt" when her daughter is not around.
"Come to me always the idea Joana and another English girl [Madeleine McCann] who disappeared from Praia da Luz, three years later," he noted.
"Parents were more relaxed, letting the children brincassem on the street alone. Some children remained in the street until late night, which does not happen now, "he told Lusa the owner of an establishment of the village, who asked not to be identified.
According to the businesswoman, today has also "is unusual children six, seven and eight do errands parents."
"Before they came, alone, buy cigarettes, milk or bread. Now, parents do not send their children to messages because they started to live in a climate of fear, "he said.
The residents of Figueira believe that the disappearance of Joana Cipriano "was never properly informed."
Few believe in the thesis of the Judicial Police (PJ) that the child will have been killed by the mother, Leonor Cipriano, and his uncle, João Cipriano.
Most residents believe Joana Cipriano "may have been sold by a relative, or taken by someone who was very fond of the child", stressing that "continue to run in the village rumors about this possibility."
"The story there is a lot. Says the people and with good reason: where there's smoke, there's fire ... "said one of the residents.

I would like to know why the strange woman that seemingly befriended the Ciprianos only to take off for England after Joana's disappearance has never been traced. I would also like to know why Team Gonzo has gone to such great lengths to spread complete fabrications around the tame Portuguese media and the internet.
So many questions about this, and all going unanswered.....
