No. I remember making frantic phone calls to various friends. One of them was an actor and his agent's office was not far from Tavistock Square. He was okay, in fact he had changed his appointment to the afternoon as he had to be at the BBC Broadcasting House in the morning. All other friends were safe. LL

Amazing that it happened at all.....in a bad way that is.  

I have been puzzling about why I know so little of this. And then I remembered that I didn't have a computer at the time, and couldn't afford to buy newspapers. In those days what was going on in Britain was largely unknown to me.
