I don't know and truthfully I don't care. I wish people would move on - I don't like where the world is going, I am just happy to be old, wobbly on me pins and able to go home to Vienna at least twice a year! It's the lying and propaganda I hate, LL. Time and again, some politically-correct narrative is presented to the public as fact, with 'us' as the Good Guys, and whoever is today's target of the latest Two-minute Hate as Evil Personified.

Then you dig a bit deeper, and discover that the truth is very grey indeed, and that far from 'us' being the Good Guys, our governments have made horrible situations worse, for their own ends, generally involving $$$$$.

And that Soros is almost always at the back of the misery, pulling his puppets' strings. When it's not him, its the damned Saudis - and occasionally, it's the Saudis and Soros together.

As I have said, it's like the Bourbons - those currently at the top of the heap have NO idea of just how angry plebs are getting.

Bonny, I totally agree with you.

So many people at the top should be leading by example of all that is right and good in the world instead of what is in the gutter. Then they hand us the bills and volunteer our young people to go out and fight for their mad ideals.

At the moment there are people within the US trying to stir others up to fight each other. I have never ever known such a divisive president as the one leaving the WH next month. Good riddance I say......

I'm not au fait with naturalization law but he has dual citizenship Hungarian/US and he emigrated from Hungary via the UK so where would he be sent back to? Usually a not wanted revoked person is returned to the country he/she came from - ie the last country of domicile. It would be easier, giving he is in his 80s to get him into court and give him a 99 year sentence - but exactly what would he be accused of? As I said, not my area of expertise - why would Putin want him anyway? His original 'crime; was against the Jews, oh, how about an 'Eichmann' solution, kidnapping, taking to Israel, being tried for murdering Jews or facilitation of the Shoah? I know what I think the best solution would be .... LL

Russia has wanted him for some time, LL, for nearly destroying the country in the 1990's, with various financial schemes (as he succeeded in doing to the UK economy, destroying people's pensions) and for meddling in Russian politics.

The USA? RICO, possibly, given his involvement in and financing of so many subversive organisations, including the riots of the last year or so. I shudder to think how many Dem and RINO politicians are in his pocket.

Gov’t to launch new national consultation on Soros-linked NGOs and “fight with Brussels”

The government will soon launch another “national consultation” on topics such as their fight against Brussels and the transparency of those NGOs they link to financier George Soros. Weekly Heti Válasz, which first wrote about the consultation, believes that it serves to divert the public’s attention of the likely fiasco of the Budapest Olympics bid because of the Momentum civil group’s successful referendum drive, reports hvg.hu.

Prime minister Viktor Orbán confirmed the launch of the new consultation in his keynote speech to Parliament’s spring session. Its five main topics will be identical with the five “main threats” to Hungary Orbán spoke about in his state-of-the-nation address earlier this month. According to him these “threats” are: the EU’s alleged intention to “ban” Fidesz’s utility scheme introduced in 2014, illegal migration, “attempts to influence Hungary from abroad” – mainly by the NGOs linked with Soros, the EU’s “attacks” on Hungary’s tax policy, and last, the “protection” of employment-protection subsidies, also from “Brussels”. It seems like Orbán once again identified the EU and the Hungarian-born financier as Hungary’s “enemies”, the question is if the public is willing to buy his narrative yet another time.

National consultations are questionnaires the government has sent several time to all Hungarian registered voters on topics like the Fidesz constitution of 2011 and illegal migration. The questions are usually guided and do not give the respondents the opportunity to voice any unfavourable opinion, unless they decide to write down their opinions separately, or use the questionnaire in other creative ways.
