100-Year-Old Runner Chases New World Record

A British man has run rings around the record books - at the age of 100.

Fauja Singh broke the records for 100-year-old men in all eight sprinting distances earlier this week.
On Sunday, he will be trying to set another record in the Toronto Marathon.
He already owns a world record for fastest marathon run in the 90-year-old plus category after finishing in 5hrs, 40mins and 1sec in 2003.
Mr Singh, who lives in London, started competitive running aged 89.
The death of his son and earlier of his wife forced him to search for an alternative in life worth living for, his coach Harmandar Singh said.
''Running has given him a new focus in life," he said.
