He is a very important statement analyst with such skill, that his insignt into the Amanda Knox case was that he concluded that she was definitely involved.

You can imagine what he says about Kate McCann.

You should see what he says about Lisa irwin. He is a bad as Pat Brown. He gets everything wrong.

If 'hobnob' has anything interesting to say, that'll be a first; didn't he write 100,000 word posts on MM about how people should be genetically pure, and take tests, to prove they were fit to be parents or something bonkers like that

It seems to be a trend, this exhaustive, semantic analysis of a translated statement.

I do not speak italian well enough to translate exactly all that was said, but I did get the jist of the trial and some of the journalsi transalations were quite losse. I also know enough to appreciate the difficulties in translating between languages and in particular the treatment of negatives.

Which makes hobnobs "analysis" utterly foolish.

I caught a bit of her appeal to thr court in italian and translated by an interpreter.
This comment caught my ear

"I haven't done anything not to deserve this"

Now, since this is translated from italian to english i have to be careful how i look at it. Was it intepreted correctly for instance, Was it interpreted correctly but knox mangled the italian? As italian is not knox's first language was it interpreted incorrecly I would like to hear her make the same appeal in english.

If it is as she said and she makes the same comment in english then she admitted her guilt.

Therefore

I have done something to deserve this.

I would appreciate you thoughts on this Peter and Heather ifi have got this right or wrong.
I will keep an eye open for a translation transcript, as it was it was a news clip with her talking in intalian overlayed by the interpretor.

.Look at the statement off amanda Knox and when it is broken down it is plain as the nose on your face that she murdered Meredith and if your remember the part where she sat in the other room with her hands over her ears.....I believe she is telling the truth about that....as stated, she probably didn't cast the fatal wound that finally finished merediths life...but she did everything before that.

Another one who doesn't do any proper research.
