This restaurant sounds wonderful, Pedro - and very reasonable, too.
Madeiran cuisine in Montinhos da Luz

Gusto Bar and Grill, owned by John Kilroy and partner José opened in July 2011, offering a combination of Portuguese and English cusine.
They specialise in Madeiran-style evenings featuring Espetadas da Madeira or “skewers from Madeira” of beef, pork, chicken or large king prawns, which are served straight to the table.
This is accompanied by a display of traditional Algarve folk dancing and music
and takes place on a fortnightly basis.
Gusto Bar and Grill is open every day between 10am and 11pm, with a daily menu freshly prepared using locally sourced ingredients.
On Sundays they are also able to offer a traditional British Sunday roast to satisfy any nostalgic cravings.
For December the restaurant has a Christmas lunch menu of three courses for € 8.95 and a four-course dinner for €9.95.
On Christmas Day there is a four-course menu for €32.95 (children´s meals half price) and on New Year´s Eve a five-course meal with complimentary bottle of wine per couple for €45.95.
As well as dining at the restaurant there is a garden with pool for the warmer months, and take away is also possible.
I'll pass on the roast; the local dishes sound delicious.
