Re: Telegraph:Retired lawyer faces jail for 'harassing' Kate and Gerry McCann
You could equally well say:
It does seem an awful lot of bother to go all that way to stalk a retired policeman with health problems at his holiday cottage.
or maybe
It does seem an awful lot of bother to go all that way to stalk the family of a missing child, and to shove vile leaflets in their neighbours' letter boxes.
or even
It does seem an awful lot of bother to go all that way to stalk supporters of a missing child, hide in their shrubbery to take pictures 'for the family album' and post photos of their security systems on the internet
Anyone who carried on like that would look like an obsessive stalker and serial harrasser, wouldn't they?

Re: Telegraph:Retired lawyer faces jail for 'harassing' Kate and Gerry McCann
The forkers are too, too funny:
If the original undertaking to the court signed by Mr. Bennett curtailed his basic rights under common law and was signed under duress from the McCanns, it cannot be enforced.
'Signed under duress'?
Don't be so ridiculous; Bennett couldn't sign it fast enough - ask Butler, she was there. The only people whose basic rights have been curtailed are Madeleine's family - they've been the target of Bennett's obsession for years.

Of course it would bonny but they don't see it that way as in their minds it is their right to do as they please using the "the search for truth" as an excuse.,. sad little people who need to be locked up

IMO, they are nothing but an internet lynch mob, and have no right to complain when they are treated with the contempt they deserve for their sicko behaviour, Anita.

I was delighted to read that article about Bennett yesterday and if any of them think that this has done Bennett any favours well they are even more deluded then i thought... Certain other members of the foundation have been very quiet especially on Sky... now I wonder why that might be

Hentie and co have every reason to be worried, I should think, Anita. It was hard to escape the impression that Bennett is going to take them all down with him.
What with him trying to blame the Rothely Stalking on the three others, and making remarks to the hounders like:
Your witness statements are in effect, of course out there on the internet where (at the moment) anyone can read them
.....they should not be surprised if Bennett names them all in court.

Well he has been asking for them to go to the court. That would be handy.....

Yes he could, Bonny. Very efficient of him when you think about it.

If he felt that strongly about it back then, then he had money, he could have done something about it. He didn't. It's too late to whine now.

'If you lie down with dogs, you will get up with fleas'
Don't you just know Bennett will take them all down with him... I wonder what their family and friends will say if they see their names and pictures in the papers and all over the news... Will they understand why they have done what they did, the disgusting things they posted on the internet about a missing little girl and her family and how they supported a man who in my eyes in just pure evil??? Well if it was my family member or friend I would not and I would have nothing more to do with them...

He's doing that selective thing again. The link gives the remainder of the facts omitted by Bennett.

Thanks for that, Lily. Some vestiges of The Old Testament and Christianity in there.
It took me many years to realise how close all religions are.

Can you imagine if it costs them any money, Anita? How will they explain that to their immediate family? All on a fool's errand.

Re: Telegraph:Retired lawyer faces jail for 'harassing' Kate and Gerry McCann
The three Mediterranean ones are all from the same roots:
http://www.pbs.org/empires/islam/faithpeople.html
Muslims believe that God had previously revealed Himself to the earlier prophets of the Jews and Christians, such as Abraham, Moses, and Jesus. Muslims therefore accept the teachings of both the Jewish Torah and the Christian Gospels. They believe that Islam is the perfection of the religion revealed first to Abraham (who is considered the first Muslim) and later to other prophets. Muslims believe that Jews and Christians have strayed from God's true faith but hold them in higher esteem than pagans and unbelievers. They call Jews and Christians the "People of the Book" and allow them to practice their own religions. Muslims believe that Muhammad is the "seal of the prophecy," by which they mean that he is the last in the series of prophets God sent to mankind. Muslims abhor the followers of later prophets. This attitude serves to explain the extreme Muslim animosity toward Bahais, followers of a nineteenth-century prophet, who in the Muslim mind is false.

That is so true, Bonny. The root of Abraham is the same.
To me, it seems like a bit of sibling rivalry at times.

Anita, probably some of them will be furious if it costs them anything. Relationships can break down because of money.

Oh dear, they are trying to tell themselves the sky isn't going to fall:
MYSTERY: Mike Gunnill, a book, a courier and a third party
Stella Today
Kololi, there is a big difference between actively distributing something to the masses, disregarding promises and supplying something just the once, on the basis of an individuals own personal research, which after some trouble obtaining it, he did.
What makes Stella think CR don't know about the emails? These emails, mentioned right there on the hounders' site?
The lady called Sym, or whatever it was, was a poster here too when Jill first set this site up and if my recall serves me right, Mr Bennett supplied her with leaflets for her to sell on his behalf. Blimey there was an almighty furor going on at the time about it with emails being posted showing this. The threads may even still be here somewhere.
Wasn't just one leaflet, was it? 'Fess up now!

It's probably like the police - they often charge people with one token offence, and have the other misdeeds taken into consideration
