Just in, he's been taken to hospital with a bladder infection. LL

I hope so. Just imagine if you were 90, would you have lasted in that weather for all that time standing up, I didn't see him sit down once. And the Queen must be one of the most sprightly ladies I have ever seen! LL

I know, LL, the rain was torrential, and that perspex cover didn't really give much protection.

Apparently he is not amused at having to miss the concert tonight and the carriage procession tomorrow! I hope it's nothing serious! LL

I must say that I got a bit worried about both of them towards the end. That was a Marathon at their ages. And they will both have been up and on the go long before The River Parade. I got to imagining The Queen desperate for a sit down and a cup of tea. Seriously.

Sabot, I imagined that she was desperate for those too. At times the look on her face was so incredible. I felt for her.

Prince Philip also looked like he was ready to leave towards the end.

I hope he gets well really soon.

I have trouble going four hours without a cup of tea at the best of times, Lily. And I'm not joking. So I hope she went home and straight to bed. And Phillip as well, although he doesn't quite strike me as a Tea Man. But then he is a furriner. Long may he live.

But we really don't need to lose The Queen just at the moment. It's a hard life she has for all of her privilege.
I am becoming increasingly fed up with knowing that I have certain things that I must do, but I can always stop if I want to. Sometimes this is more important than money and privilege.

She did look vulnerable. Lily, at least to anyone who cared. I tried not to think about it because the people who surround her must know what she can cope with. And it's none of my business anyway.
But she didn't have a choice, Lily. She never has had.

That's the concert started now, and it's finally not raining.

It's such a pity Freddy Mercury is no longer with us, for occasions like this. There have been some fabulous performances so far - though I am none too sure why Grace Jones was hoola-hooping.

Personally, I thought Buck House was going to lift off and go into orbit during Live and Let Die.

Latest is that he is much better and may be out of hospital in time for his 91st birthday on Sunday. LL

He's left hospital and will be back with his family to celebrate his birthday on Sunday! LL
