I was amazed hearing Mr McCann denying as if he had Mrs McCann's dreams under control.
Ricardo Paiva is a sworn inspector. What else ?

about 'Wanna see my truncheon?' Paiva.

Let's look at those other wonderful inspectors.

Amaral.

Convicted of perjury to cover up torture.

Almeida

He of the discredited report has since been convicted of actual torture.

Cristovao

Awaiting trial on mutliple charges of gangsterism, intimidation, etc.

Flores

Up to his ears in scandal over his corrupt use of his Masonic status. On record as approving of the use of violence against women in police custody.

As for Paiva, well, his internet activities certainly lived up to Kate McCann's nickname for him.

The very idea of a 21st century European police force crimebusting by dream interpretation is laughable, though it impresses the stupid Gonc cult.

Supposing there even was a dream to begin with.

That's the thing. What half decent Policeman would believe that recounting a dream was proof of guilt? If there ever was a dream.
And absolutely nothing was found. That should have told him something.

How on earth can any sane, intelligent, individual NOT see something wrong with police officers supposedly interpreting dreams, Sabot?

Have they NO concept of how stupid the PJ looked when Paiva came out with that garbage? What does he do for an encore - predict the future by staring at chicken entrails?

Well, he had been supporting The McCanns in the beginning, allegedly, so I suppose he had to come up with some reason for changing his mind.

I wonder if Cristovao has got a Dossier on him? I wouldn't be at all surprised if he has.

I'm really looking forward to Cristovao and his dossiers being dragged into the dock, Sabot.

I wonder if the thought of those 'dossiers' appearing in CdM is one of the many things things that is giving Gonc nightmares?

I doubt that they are going to ell us the extent of it, Bonny. Portugal is still having some trouble with the truth and the level of corruption in The PJ.

A COP who comforted Madeleine McCann’s parents is being probed for allegedly sending filthy photos to a woman.
Portuguese detective Ricardo Paiva is accused of posting them over the internet to a 20-year-old Brit.
Married dad Paiva, in his 40s, is said to have responded after she contacted him about Madeleine’s disappearance.
It is claimed he begged the woman — a blonde model — to send him a photo and allegedly replied with an obscene image of himself.
Paiva denies it was him and claims that someone hacked into his Facebook account.
Last night his Polícia Judiciária force confirmed it was investigating and had seized his computer. A source said: “They are checking the possibility Paiva’s Facebook page has been hacked.”
Inspector Paiva is also alleged to have leaked details of the bungled first police probe into Madeleine’s disappearance to the model.
Madeleine was nearly four when she was kidnapped from her family’s holiday apartment in Praia da Luz on the Algarve in May 2007.

Family liaison officer Paiva was the cop closest to her devastated parents Kate and Gerry in the following days.
But he later clashed with the couple, both doctors of Rothley, Leics, who were made suspects. In her book “Madeleine”, Kate told how Paiva went from being a trusted confidante to her main accuser.
