Why have the McCanns so far resisted the urge to be photographed in Madeleine's room, looking suitably agonised of course.

Oh, the haters would love that, wouldn't they? They'd be in a frenzy of one-handed typing as they held their disgusting discussions about the tiniest detail.

They would claim everything had been photoshopped.

They would trail their dirty fingers over everything.

Sadly for them, but luckily for normal, decent people, the Gonzo fan club is NOT entitled to dirty everything connected with Madeleine and her family with their prurient speculation.

They must have been raised without the concept of boundaries. They wouldn't be hounding and harassing people if they had.

Hounder:

Please, please, please - finally just show us this "pretty pink bedroom" with seven years' worth of birthday and Christmas presents crammed into it. The stacks must be towering by now, they have to get out a ladder every time they want to put in a new present for the absent Madeleine. I know they live in a sprawling manse, so their rooms might be huge, but I'm trying to picture this in one of my children's 10-ft-by-10-ft bedrooms..

Disgusting people - how would they like it if a shower of nasty nutters on the internet demanded they post pictures of their children's bedroom, to make sicko remarks about and dissect pixel by pixel? Venom and spite just screams out from its post.

And - 'sprawling manse'?

1. The McCanns family home is scarcely 'sprawling', its a perfectly ordinary new build villa.

2. 'Manse'? A 'manse' is what the local minister lives in in Scotland.

Quite Bonny. Isn't it strange how they call the McCann's home a mansion and so on? It is exactly how you described it. It seems like it is a very nice executive size home.

The hounders are merely showing their bad manners in having no boundaries and no respect for others.

When you live in a 2up/2down, a council flat or B&B even a modest house can seem like a mansion. Some of the old back to back houses in the northern parts of England are minute. LL

True LL. You don't need a mansion and such to be happy. Happiness comes from within.

I guess they are miserable with their lot. I would pity them if they weren't so horrible.
