Incident occurred in the marina of Albufeira.

A man who bit a military of GNR, in a finger, was arrested in the marina of Albufeira. Another individual was arrested for threats to authority.

The two men of 22 and 23, were part of a group that tried to attack the security of the marina, at 23.00 on Tuesday. The GNR was called, and of the rioters fled. Two of them were on the place when the GNR attempted to identify, tried to escape. They were picked up and responded, with one bitten a military man, which had to receive medical attention.

goat loose on the road

Popular were alarmed by the animal.

For several hours a goat walked on the loose in the middle of EN13, on Tuesday afternoon in Aver-o-Mar, in Povoa de Varzim. The animal, which have escaped from a farm and nearly caused accidents on the road, turned out to be picked up by popular that tied him to a tree.

PSP ‘I’m Here’ programme sees users double

A programme devised by the PSP police force to help find lost children has seen almost double the number of users enrol on it this year.

The ‘I’m Here’ programme, which covers children aged two to nine, works via the free distribution of identification bracelets which are registered with the PSP. Between June and August this year more than 51,000 bracelets were activated, more than double the 25,000 bracelets registered last year.

GNR caught stealing money

Hidden camera shows military to steal money in Portalegre.

A sergeant major of the GNR was caught by a hidden camera to steal coins from the cash register of the Territorial Command Bar Portalegre, reports Thursday the Jornal de Notícias
