The star of The Producers, Willi Wonker and The Chocolate Factory and Young Frankenstein died yesterday of complications from Alzeimer's.   He was 83.

RIP Gene you will be sorely missed.  LL

I don't think he really recovered from the death of his third wife, Gilda Radner, who died on May 20, 1989 from ovian cancer, at just 42.   He did marry again. LL

Indeed. He had been married twice before Gilda. I am glad he seems to have found some happiness with his 4th wife. What is it about 2016, they are dropping like flies. LL
